Countdown to training camp!

Only 2 weeks from today ladies and gents we'll finally have some REAL FOOTBALL to talk about!

Re: Countdown to training camp!

Training camp opens and the Simpsons movie premieres on the same day! That's a little slice of heaven right there

Re: Countdown to training camp!

I've never once seen a single episode of the Simpson's. But then I've never once been to see training camp either.

Bout damn time for some football if you ask me.

Re: Countdown to training camp!

Hells yeah.

This is a great time of year, Madden and NCAA coming out soon, fantasy football starting again, and of course real football again. Football is the only thing that makes the end of summer bearable.

greatest day of the summer.

Re: Countdown to training camp!

Yeah it really gives you something to look forward to every week during these cold ass winters with no snow. I CANT WAIT MAN! Don't know If I'm going back to training camp this year, last year really sucked. I got Doughty and Gibbs autograph out of 3 days. I wish I could erase Doughty's somehow. Lol when we were there and Doughty was walking up I tried to hide the football, but my fiance said that it was to obvious and made me let him sign it.

One of these days I would love to go to camp. I'm getting pretty geeked up for some Redskins football.
I need to make one of the paper chains we used to make back in kinder garden before x-mas. The ones were you would tear a ring off ever morning until Christmas eve there was only one link left. But instead of making it green and read. I'll make it Burgundy and gold. :joke: God I love football season, it's my favorite time of year.:httr:

Re: Countdown to training camp!

Training camp is a nice start. But can't wait till kickoff 07.

Re: Countdown to training camp!

People who complain about preseason football aren't diehard fans. I personally cannot wait to see our 2nd and 3rd stringers hit the field. Just seeing the burgundy and gold hit the field will give me goosebumps, even if the game is meaningless.

I cant wait for that day.

I agree. It's football. At least we will have something tangible to talk about. Off-season is six months of conjecture and hearsay. If you can discuss the draft at 2AM in February, a pre-season game should be colossal.

Re: Countdown to training camp!

And is it just me, or has this been a REALLY long off-season?

I am so ready for some real football, scrubs and all!!!

A really L O N G off-season!

Re: Countdown to training camp!

Got a new large screen flatpanel HD tv in the offseason.

Can't wait to watch the burgundy and gold on that.

Almost don't want to go to the stadium to sit in my seats on the 40Yd line.....Nah.
