Madden and NCAA
 

I just pre-ordered both games for the 360, can't wait both games look great this year. I've actually had more fun with NCAA in recent years over Madden. I hope Madden gets back on track this year.

I've been a NCAA guy for several years. I prefer their gameplay to Madden's, and I dont know about you, but I love running the option.

And now that I see they've made NCAA 08 for XBox, I'll be running over to GameStop next week to get it.

I played NCAA 08 on demo for 360. It was pretty damn nice to say the least.

I guess both games will be running at 60 frame rates per second on the 360, and they have a new gameplay engine. Hopefully they will be truly next gen.

Oh I've read that, haha. I am such a loser. I have been checking on the progress of NCAA and Madden daily for about 6 months.

This is the best thing I have ever played. The gameplay was great, EA really outdid themselves this time. It is really a chess match no more deep passes on every play. The CB Ai is so much better and the stamina system makes it impossible for someone to pick say West Virginia or Arkansas and just run you into the ground on every play. I love this F**KING game. And that whole 60 frames versus 30 frames you dont even feel it. If anything the PS3 version feels smoother than the 360 version.

yes my friend brought over his 360 and it seemed more crisp and responsive on the PS3. But that is just me.

Double the frame rate would have to make a difference IMO, but that's just my guess, I haven't played either of them yet. I'll check them out side by side next week at game stop.

just a suggestion, reserve it cuz I know my store only got 2 copies for the regular xbox.

u can definitely tell the game runs a bit quicker and more fluidly on the 360 but the PS3 version is no slouch. I need to get back to editing the rosters now so I have them ready for launch.

Good idea. I may run over there tonight and put 5 bucks down and pick it up later this week...hell, there is a coupon code, free 2 day shipping on Gamestop.com (NCAA2D). I may just order it online and have it on Thursday...can't play it the next 2 days anyway...

EDIT: I ordered it...figured it would save me a car trip to the store. Friday night, the wife goes to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding she's in on Saturday (her and her best friend are in it, told us husbands we did not have to partake in the festivities), so I'll break in a 12 pack of Miller Chill and build my Maryland dynasty.

I'm the type of person who will try something a few times before making a final judgment call on it. I had a few the other night, and I didnt' think it was too bad.

YEAH! It was sold out in all my stores I had to buy a 12 pack to get it. I will give it another go and see, I have a 11 left and fridge space I am sure I can make it happen!
