What do you think? Better than NCAA?

I'm thinking of trading in NCAA tomorrow to get the $30 credit for Madden.

This is the first year I haven't reserved it. I felt like I was robbed with 06 and 07 for the 360. I'll still buy it but I'm not in the hurry I was in year's past. When someone does pick it up, please let me know if the "improvements" (i.e. putting everything that was incorporated before, back in the next gen game) are well done.

got it for both. But it is better than NCAA yes but I wouldnt trade in NCAA. But the game is much better than 2007. I think EA finally paid attention to the gameplay. But I would not trade in NCAA cause I love that game too.

I love NCAA but if Madden is as good as it's supposed to be I don't see myself playing NCAA very much.

I want to see what you guys think of this before dropping my sixty bucks. I also have my eye on BioShock for the end of the month. I usually afford my self one game a month but since today is my B-Day I got some extra cash this month.

Right now I am so addicted to Forza 2, I should be mainlining it!

If you like FPS I think BioShock is going to be a big hit. check it out on Gamespot.

you will be happy with both but to be honest the 360 is smoother but gameplay is exactly the same but both games are phenomanal

The PS3 difference.
Sadly, just like with NCAA Football 08 and All-Pro Football 2K8, PS3 owners are stuck with an inferior version of Madden. While the game runs at 60 frames per second on Microsoft's box, Madden only clocks in at 30fps on Sony's console. The result? The gameplay isn't nearly as smooth as the 360 version and even stutters at times (see the difference in this comparison video). And that's the reason why we're scoring the PS3 edition slightly lower.

Bioshock demo is up on marketplace & is f-ing awesome.
I love laughing in the face of anyone who tries to bribe us to sell madden early. I don't even let my friends get it cuz they aren't worth me risking losing my job so someone else can be playing a game a day or so early and my true friends don't even ask thankfully. One of my buddies was gullable enough to pay $100 for his copy somewhere. I haven't played it yet and won't til I get home from work tomorrow since I gotta do the midnight opening thing and then open, but I'll be burning the midnight oil tomorrow playing it.

Dude thanks for the tip! I dl the demo and that game is awesome! Really don't pass up BioShock!

i've been playing all night. Its like 9 oclock now. I'm taking a break and playing again real soon. Its lots of fun. I'm too tired to give a review but is it just me or is the rushing attack gone?

and that rushing practice thing is not the same as rushing attack. I don't like it one bit. NOT ONE BIt!

I'm now going to buy Madden 07 for XBOX 360 so i can play that with my friends at college. I got 07 for XBOX but not 360. I can probably get a used one for 10 bucks online though

I thought that was happening this year????? Where you could play each other on the exat day of the real game and the weather and injuries for that day would incorperate into the gameplay.

I love the game as is and could care less about new features. I am buying it today simply because I want updated rosters and player ratings. I'm too lazy to manually change everything.

I have both and I am playing them both equally I dont really pay attention to it although you cann fell that it is better.

I think IGN is full of poop. (Yes, poop.) So far IGN has rated the PS3 version of Madden 08 the lowest out of any other site I've read.

Granted, the 360 version is more superior, I have no quarrels about that. IGN is taking it in the pooper from Microsoft. IGN craps on every PS3 game except Ninja Gaiden Sigma (which is a fantastic game. It has 60fps, for all the boohooers). There ARE good games out there.

Just because a site says is crappy, doesn't mean it actually is.
