If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
Is there a good free agent corner availible at the end of this year? It looks like we're gonna move on after this year. Asante Samuel would be VERY EXPENSIVE, so are there any cheaper alternatives??
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
Wow...is there not enough to talk about, so we're GUESSING at who might be available?
To answer the question...there is no way to tell, and I will bet it will be someone we won't be able to guess at. |

Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
You do know that the offseason is a long way off dont you?I mean really, one game into the season and you want to talk about who will replace Springs. Why dont we just wait a little while before discussing this. You know, like at the end of the year when that kind of stuff is relevant.

Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
How about you explain your Peter King thread first?
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
It is a good question though, as long as you answer it generally.
If Rogers has a difficult year, it would make sense to draft a CB on day one. If Rogers can establish himself as a stud in the backfield (looking bleaker every week), they will likely just ride it out with him and Smoot. |
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
Well let me get my magic ball out, thats right I don't have one.
Who the hell knows.....? |

I don't doubt they'll go after Asante Samuel (who should be a free agent) B. We're heading into week two of the season, and we've already got threads like "Who should replace Springs next offseason?" "Who should we draft in '08?" Way too early to discuss all that C. He really better explain that Peter King thread |

C. He really better explain that Peter King thread[/QUOTE] HOW? What possible explanation are you looking for? "I was bored so I thought I'd post random shit and clutter up the site... hmmm?" :frusty: |
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
all of this is hurting my head
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
this is like thread #8 that you've started that had very little relevance. Not only that but you never respond further...try posting in some other threads before you keep starting new ones

Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
I hate this guy.
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
Sweet, people hate someone else now. But to answer I would either say Asante Samuel, or our 2nd round draft pick and Smoot.
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
Draft a CB in the first 2 rounds is the obvious answer, but have to agree with everyone else. It is week 2 of the new season. Focus on the Eagles or something relevant to this season. Springs might not last the '07 campaign anyway so the issue might be moot in a few weeks.

Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
You would think that there would be more to talk about. Especially with us undefeated and all. LOL!!
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
They should bring back Ade Jimoh to replace Springs. Duh.
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
If the F/O put any thought into the future , these threads might not come up ? lets hope they think ahead , or next year we will be asking < again > why don't we have a DE worth a crap for the 15th consecutive year . Our entire OL and DL < starters > will need to be replaced in two years , minus Rabach and he isn't exactly 25 years old himself.
|

why yall takin aboutt next year now?????

NFLNetwork, I hope the NFL Network sues you for copyright infringement since you're starting threads like this. They don't have to take money from you, just your internet access so you can't impersonate them and make them look like buffoons by posting things like this under their name.

Rabach is a dick. He lives in beacon hill next door to my boy. he called the cops on us when we had a party. fuck rabach that fat fuck. i bet he averages 2 holds a game this year...which would be an improvement |

I say its Whats-his-name ... you know the guy that is younger, plays better, is more affordable, is available, and wants to be a Redskin. As soon as Whats-his-name is signed then the team can let Springs move on. |

springs is straight, he saved us last week when smooty wasn't up to par. I'd rather keep springs then have carlos rogers...unless of course he starts walking it off more. love youtube. |

LOL! A utility fine. |
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
while we are at it, lets talk about the 09 draft too.....
HERE IS A WHAT IF, WHAT IF WE LOSE MONDAY, WHAT IF WE WIN???? SOUNDS LIKE A CRAZY TO QUESTION TO ASK SINCE WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THAT DAY AND TOO MANY PEOPLE ARE FARSIGHTED..... 1 game at a time, 1 game at a time, 1 game at a time....... and so on I love the fact that people are worried about the future, but by the time that comes upon us, this thread will be so burried in this site that it will take you that long again to find it..... Have a great weekend every one, and pray that our coaches have prepared the boys well for a HUGE game |
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
We won't go after anyone, Leigh Torrence and Byron Westbrook are our CBs of the future
|
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
rogers doesn't seem capable of being a solid #1 corner, and smoot's career is coming to and end....so obviously we will need to add a young corner.
enough said |
Re: If we cut Springs next year, who will replace him??
why do you say Smoot's career is coming to an end...he's still pretty young. I imagine he'll be around for a while in some aspect or another

Don't worry Quake. We still hate you. That's the beautiful thing about hate. These always plenty to go around. |
