ARE's celebration dance
What the hell is he doing?? He grabs something in the sky and molests it and then he breaks it over his knee. Sorry its just really been bugging me since he's been making more plays.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I actually like his dance. I have no idea what the hell it's supposed to represent, but it's funny and easily performed at drunken gatherings. Preferably drunken gatherings that involve Cowboy fans.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
Hillarious. I've been thinking the same thing!! I was wondering when someone was going to start a thread!
I think it's a spiritual, praise celebration dance. Just my guess though. |

as bad as this? |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I remember reading somewhere that he was opening a window to heaven to let the blessings rain down on him or something along those lines
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
This may sound stupid, but I always thought he was motioning his hands like he was highlighting a billboard (in my mind with his name on it) like saying he was "big time" or the "big show". BRIGHT LIGHTS!
I might be completely off base but until he explains it thats what i have in my mind. |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I love his little dance, I think he does it too much sometimes though, when its not really warrented, but I dont really care...I freaking love it.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
After little while, it's beginning to be annoying to me.. But I guess there is nothing we can do tho..
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I seem to remember him saying he was giving praise to God. He's not shy talking about his faith.

I think that's what he's doing actually - giving praise. |

Re: ARE's celebration dance
I don't care what he does as long he is making the plays so he can do the dance is just fine.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
As long as he keeps playing the way he is I don't care what he does to celebrate.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
Speaking of dances, I like Reggie Wayne's. He does the little fist pump thing every single time.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
From ARE's chat with ES...
"Well, me waving my hands over my head, that’s me saying, “Glory to God,” and open up the windows of Heaven and letting all the blessings pour out on me." EXTREMESKINS.com - Sept. 12: Antwaan Randle El So there's our answer. |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
Thats half the answer. What is he breaking over his knee?

I don't know. I guess that's between him and God. ;) |

Tony Romo. |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
The whole signature celebration move seems a little WWE to me. I hate it on other team's players and I hate it worse on ours.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I always liked Santana Moss's little thing he does. I hate it when guys go overboard. I also like LT's thing too.
|
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I always preferred John Riggins "celebration"--just flip the ball to the ref, and go back to the sidelines. Look at the end of his great 4th down superbowl run. Other players would be dancing and what not. He's all business. Here's the ball back. Game over, bi***. So much more of a statement--you can't stop me. I know that. You know that. No need to say anything more.

Re: ARE's celebration dance
I used to like Terrell Davis with his mile high salute.

I physically hate that guy. He is on my list of NFL players that if I saw them walking down the street I wouldnt ask for their autograph! |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
I kind of liked it when Carlos Rogers put the ball down right at the edge of the end zone and then ran off.
My favorite TD celebration of all time (apart from The Fun Bunch) is when Gary Clark used to do that little dunk over the goal post |

Everytime I see him do that dance he reminds me of the Ultimate Warrior. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR DRAWS POWER FROM THE SKY!!!!!!!!! lol http://www.tuttowrestling.com/warrior01.jpg |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
The Ultimate Warrior is a douchebag.

I believe his scientific name is Douchebaginus Ultimous. |
Re: ARE's celebration dance
Guy I never thought he was doing something spiritual because he has this really cheesy grin on his face when he does it. To me it's hilarious, and I do it parties sometimes. lol

just a thought--you're spending entirely too much time posting on a redskins fan site? ;) (Maybe you can use this as a pick up line: "Hey, baby. I've got the fastest growing post-count on the board, if ya know what I mean.") |

Exactly, and he shouts GLORY as he does it.. It's his expression of his faith.. |

Re: ARE's celebration dance
I could watch ARE do that dance 15 times each game for the rest of the season and never get irritated (and 20 times per game in the play-offs). Hail.
