I just got this from a friend in TX, QC got punted..

dallascowboys.com said QC was a no show at the AM practice, with reports saying they saw him being driven away earlier in the morning. Parcells is supposed to have an 11:30 (PDT) press conference, so I guess we'll know by then.

I'll tell you what Parcells is doing. He's gonna throw in the towel for this season with the hopes of getting a high draft pick. But this move is really gonna cause some tension in the locker room. Parcells his showing his ruthlessness and thats something that players don't respect. Its one thing to have a companding presence and personality which parcells does have. But its another to just do away with players at a time when they really don't even have that great of chance to catch on with another team. Just a prediction but I can imagine some commotion in the Cowboys locker room coming.

I wonder what he did to get released. What a surprise. A good surprise though. Who do you guys think will pick him up? I'm just glad he's out of the NFC East!

Oh and by the way, were gonna beat the shit out of the cowboys infrom of the whole country.

I don't know what's going on in Cowboys country, but it looks like there's a power struggle going on and I like it. QC was a Jones guy, the owner picked him in the 2nd round when most guys had him as a 4th rounder. I know that and 50 cents gets you a copy of the USA Today, but I'm curious to know why QC was cut now? It's not like he had an awesome year, but if Parcells is hoping to duplicate his '98 Jets squad he can forget it. I HOPE Testaverde is the starting qb, he's still got a great arm but he can ALWAYS be counted on to turn the ball over when pressured. ALWAYS.

I smell confusion in cowboy land, and I must say it smells good.

On Monday Parcells said Carter was the starter until he's unseated. Is Vinny the starter now? Don't think it would be Hensen yet.

Testaverty sucks so bad, its not even funny.

We might have the classic example here of a great coach, but a very poor personal man and GM.

ESPN radio and FOX are reporting that it was a team administered drug test he failed and was subsequently released. He's in the league's substance abuse program and the next postive test is a four ggame suspension. The boys are just beating them to the punch and nott sacrificing valuable reps to a guy who wouldn't be there a quarter of the season.

dont underestimate vinny. He is a vet qb and could be a leader on that offense that has a ton of receivers.

He didnt do so well last year though, so mabye hes just done at this point. Heres to the cowboys having a building year and then putting in henson and him sucking because dallas is where baseball players go to die.

Depth has got to be a huge concern for the Cowboys now. Behind Vinny they have Henson and Tony Romo? LOL, good luck.

The cowboys shoudl start henson, but after going 10-6 last year, and havnig such a demanding owner, they arent going to settle for a building year with a rookie qb. They are 'politically' making the right move, but where do they think vinny will take them. If anythign its an excuse to bring henson in before hes ready.

id cut him for performance reasons. I dont see him becoming a star becuase of how he played last year.

Tony Romo?? They might as well have Tony Soprano playing QB. Now I know the guy burned some bridges when he left but I would think a logical move would be to bring back Chad Hutchinson. After all the guy knows the system.

it coudl be smart to bring back chad. They didnt need so many qbs before, but with Carter failing his drug test id give him atelast a one year deal. Of course he didnt play last eyar either because they didnt think he was any good, I dont knwo fi that feelign changed. Their are others qbs out there but I think that Parcells likes vinny.

Never underestimate a Parcell's coached team, anyone here think Parcell's was in love with this guy to start with? QC success was a testament to Parcell's coaching ability, there's more, and there's better where Quincey came from.

Coke/Crack is some seriously hard stuff. Perhaps QC should hang with Ricky and learn to appreciate the softer greener stuff. Maybe even tour the world together. First stop Amsterdam.
