It's Testaverde!!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaw

I just heard Parcells say he is going to spend the next few weeks getting Vinnie ready to face MINN, and give the 2 kids as much work as possible for developing them for the future. Looks like we face Testaverde!!!! Bring it on, Cowturds!!

Redskins_P 08-04-2004 03:13 PM

How bout dem Cokeheads!

cpayne5 08-04-2004 03:21 PM

Hmmm, one more aging Dallas qb for LaVar to retire...

i just told my Dallas fan friend that. only he's gonna break his hip cuz of osteoporosis.

RedskinRat 08-04-2004 03:31 PM

How sweet would THAT be! Oh, man what great thought.....

BleedBurgundy 08-04-2004 03:45 PM

I'm so happy I am literally cackling with joy... He he heheheeehehe

memphisskin 08-04-2004 04:05 PM

I don't know, I think I would have much rather faced QC than Testaverde. I mean you could always count on QC to overthrow a streaking wide receiver or fumble at an inopportune time.

But I'm beginning to like our chances more and more.

MTK 08-04-2004 04:13 PM

I'd rather face Vinny at this point. He's a statue in the pocket and his arm isn't what it once was, at least QC could scramble around. Scrambling QB's have always given the Skins problems.

I was in some stupid training class for a new job today and got to break the news to a cowboys fan, who I had just found out at lunch was a cowboys fan.....priceless!!!!!!!!

SmootSmack 08-04-2004 05:32 PM

Testaverde looked done when we faced him in the season opener last year. I can't imagine he's found the fountain of youth since then

burgundyandgold 08-04-2004 05:36 PM

A drug addict in Dallas, who knew?

Still South America's team.

As far as facing Vinnie over QC, I like Vinnie from our point of view. He has always had the color blind tendency. Throws real often to the wrong color jersey. Rather get an INT than an INC.

again, i wasn't the one who claimed my statements weren't mean spirited. i don't apologize for dissing cowboys. neither in the NFC east nor the White House!

:tongue

Carnage 08-04-2004 06:19 PM

This is crazy. In 01, Parcells went into the season with a very old QB (testy) and no proven backup. Testy went down in the first game, and the season was sunk. At the time, I thought this was reckless, and I lost a bit of respect for Parcells. Now testy is 40(!!) and Parcells is doing it again. What the hell is his problem?

SKINSnCANES 08-04-2004 06:27 PM

Vinny has had a good career but in recent years hasnt proven much. Last year when Pennington went down, the jets sucked, when Pennington came back, they got life again.

Riggo44 08-04-2004 08:12 PM

That's the kind of news I like to hear out of Cowgirls camp!!! :httr:

monk81 08-04-2004 08:17 PM

:laughing-

Then when Vinny gets hurt, and at 40 you know he won't last long as the starter....they have a BASEBALL player waiting in the wings....HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Okay...Assuming the Cowboys have limited depth let alone a reliable starter, who's out there that they may go after???

DG :confused-

NY_Skinsfan 08-04-2004 11:25 PM

Does anybody know what our record is against vinnie...how many wins and losses?

jeff george?

DG: Brewer & Redskins fan 08-05-2004 12:55 AM

Seriously...Why couldn't they go after someone's backup with a trade? Are we to believe the Cowboys are going to sit still with Testaverde and his back-up with no Pro experience? All Parcells needs is someone steady who can play within his system. What about Dilfer? Is he written off?

Winskins 08-05-2004 03:15 AM

Vinny is going to have to use a cane just to scramble around in the pocket.

He's so old that when he calls audibles dust comes out of his mouth.

He should just go and hang out with people his own age...like Jesus!

All in all, this just spells good news for the 'Skins vs. 'Girls rivalry on our side

Parcells stated emphatically in the press conference that they would not be signing anyone. He said it was all he could do to get Vinnie ready for the season and give the two kids enough work to start preparing them for future years. We'll see if he sticks to that if Vinnie doesn't start coming around LOL

MTK 08-05-2004 09:13 AM

I like the thought of Arrington and Washington bringing the heat play after play on old man Vinny. He's going to be a sitting duck.
