I dont ever pray, and yet I found myself hoping and praying that he pulls throught (who cares about football at this point). ST is my favorite player I have 5 of his jerseys, i keep looking at the framed one on my wall, its making me really sad.

I've been on here all day and haven't been able to bring myself to posting anything about this whole ordeal. I think everyones pretty much summed everything up. You can never plan for a situation like this, theres no way to. This has hit all of us redskins fans extremely hard and especially those close to Sean. Its brought me to tears several times both reading the possible outcomes of this and hearing ignorant reporters and columnists point out all the bad in a person while they're laying in a coma. Sean Taylor has been my favorite player since he was drafted and I haven't held such a place in my heart for a player since Darrell Green. Hes been the type of player that I would follow the whole time on the field just to watch him and the way he plays the game. Hes an electrifying player and those aren't easy to find. It deeply saddens me that I could lose that as a fan, a man could lose his life, and a child could lose its father. My hopes and prayers go out to Sean, his family, and the Washington Redskins. Hail.

I can't even express the concern I have for Sean’s life after reading the latest report on Fox. I have been praying all day trying to make some since of this horrible crime. The only thing I could think of to do was go home and put my Taylor jersey on during my lunch break to show my support for the young man. I will continue to have Sean and his family in my prayers until God willing he can pull through this

Lord I pray for your will to be done. If it is your will to heal Sean, I pray that he'll make a full recovery. I believe in power of pray, and I believe in healing. Lord I also pray that this will touch people's lives and will cause them to want to be closer to you God. I pray for all of my Redskins family and hope that this will bring us closer together. I ask all of this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen.

Our thoughts and countless prayers have gone out to the big man in the backfield and his extended family all day, since hearing of the horrible tragedy this am.

We will continue on until the one and only master surgeons work is complete.

Thanks to Admins for letting folks of Faith have such a thread. Not many boards let us do such. Thanks to folks who do not believe to give us space as well.

Be encouraged. Where blood transfusions and doctors fail, the power of God does not. Sean flatlined twice earlier today, but now he is responsive and out of the coma. God is hearing our prayers. Continue to seek God on Sean's behalf. Only by the blood of Christ, through faith in the name of Jesus are we healed.

I agree with skinsnut, Lord, and your Word says where two agree, it shall be done. I thank you right now Father God, for your Son Jesus, who gave his life, so we might have life, and life more abundantly. I ask that that same power that raised Christ from the dead, quicken Sean's body and fill him with your your healing power. I pray for the Comforter, your Holy Spirt, for his family who need your precious peace right now. I thank you that you hear, even what we write. I the mighty, precious name of Jesus, Amen!

You know, I never really understand things like this, it's just ashame....no matter what mistakes Sean made in the past, it was pretty evident that he had done a good job cleaning up his life, and really being a good person. and its just ashame.....I know its been said several times already, but this was not a case of a guy out in a strip club, or out in a club fighting with people...it was a man in his home, seemlingly there to protect his family....I know he'll most likley never play football again and I dont care if he does or not, I just hope the guy can enjoy the work he's put into the last couple of years and be able to see his kid grow up and live a normal life.....

I had the pleasure of meeting Sean (a story I know I've shared here before)...and it was absolutley amazing and a story I tell all the time because it was such a awsome experiance and Sean was just an awsome guy....Get well Sean, Hoping for the best...

Hey everyone Im from thedallascowboys.net. I would like to say that Sean is in my prayers wishing him a speedy recovery. No matter what team we root for we as humans never want to see anyone get seriously hurt. It is a shame that people have to stoop to low levels to hurt someone.

God be with him keep him and his family strong while they deal with this diffucult time.

How about a specific time for a group prayer. Say 7pm Eastern Standard Time Tuesday evening. [B]At 7pm, stop what you are doing and pray[/B]. Pray for Sean's healing. Pray for his daughter and girlfriend. Pray for those investigating the crime. Pray for the teammates who must put on the pads and keep going. Just pray. The Lord will hear; He knows what is on your heart.

Heavenly Father we pray for healing, understanding, and hope. Sean's life is in Your hands, Lord. Please take care of him. Please provide Sean's family and friends with the comfort that only You can give. As his recovery moves forward, stay with Sean and the doctors and specialists providing his medical care. Guide and direct them in all they do. We're asking for a miracle Lord. Something we ourselves are incapable of doing, but it firmly within Your power, given by grace through your mercy and abounding love. Thank-you Lord for all you do for all of us, despite our frequent unthankfulness and self-righteous ways.

Everyone here knows the gravity of the situation, and I think it says something about the perspective that I didn't expect everyone to have. I really gained some respect for the board during this whole thing... Everyone has behaved for the most part, and understood how insignificant this game is in the grand scheme of things.
