Whats your favorite Sean Taylor collectible?
 

With the Sean Taylor items on Ebay going through the roof and many of them suspected forgery. I thought I would start a thread to see if anyone has a favorite Sean Taylor collectible in their collection and if not their favorite redskin piece. Mine is an autographed ball my fiance got for me a couple years ago. Its become my most treasured piece.

You are definitely lucky to have that one.. I was planning to go to training camp this summer and get his autograph - I even had a real NFL football ball ready in my closet..

Thanks, yeah its sad that his autograph is going to be harder to get your hands on now. I'd be especially careful buying anything off of ebay for a while.

Last year, in honor of my friend, whom has had 4 kidney transplants, I purchased an autographed ST throwback jersey, at a silent auction, and framed in a shadowbox. It is currently hanging above my fireplace.

I was not only able to get one of my favorite players autographs, but help someone in the process. The donation was to the American Kidney Fund.

My favorite Taylor pieces are My full size replica helmet that was autographed and I had bought when he was a rookie, he even signed it with #36 on it, also, his rookie year jersey that I had bought for me and I had bought one for my son, each sporting the #36.

Definatly a picture with him at training camp, I would post it but for some reason can't figure out how.I couldn't ask for something better to remember him by. Sean Taylor adored his fans and I was lucky enough to be the first person in his line for fan day his rookie year. My signed 36 jersey and this photo are hard to look at right now without welling up but they will undoubtly hang on my wall for years to come. Missing you already 21................

Now that football looks like a legit auto. where as some i saw on ebay already..it has his name where you can actually make it out.. which im sure are forged

I read somewhere that at a couple signings this year he started to spell out his name more, some were certified from reputable places. Regardless though I cant see myself buying an autographed item soon. Im having enough trouble picking up numbered and jersey cards on ebay.

This is one I would probably trust for example.

At the Chantilly Show in July he definitely did. It is a very distinct signature and pretty easy to differentiate from some of those horrible fakes from the sharks on eBay.

I don't have any Taylor related collectibles right now, but I just ordered 2 jerseys and I think I'll look to have one of them framed.

I don't have any signed memorabilia. But I have two authentic jerseys that I guess are collectible now. It makes me sad just to look at them right now but I'm going to cherish them for the rest of my life. I'm still looking for a 75th anv authentic if anyone can help.

My best memento:

taking my daughter to last years Cowboys game at Fedex.

The game is all but lost and then Sean blocks the field goal!

The look on my Daughter's face was priceless.

Talk about shock and awe.

It makes me doubly nostalgic knowing I get to see my daughter grow up and he won't....

(I know it's not really a collectible, but it's all I've got).

This is the saddest most pathetic looking Sean Taylor rip off I've ever seen. I cant believe someone fell for this. He should be ashamed.

The seller should be ashamed. I feel sorry for the poor sap that doesn’t know there being ripped off. It's probably be some kids Mom, Dad or Grandparent that thinks there doing somthing really nice for there child.

I know...Imagine one of your family members spending good money for that thinking it was authentic and getting it for you for christmas. I would cry if someone bought me that. Its too bad that so many people dont research autographs enough.

No Kidding... Wouldn't that suck? You wouldn't want to hurt any feelings so you would have to act all happy and give old Grandma a big hug.I guess the next week you could use it for a game of street ball with your bud’s at least. (Light post to light post)
