Seriously, if he doesn't get some Pro Bowl love this year we should all be very pissed.

He now has 58 catches for 677 yards and 7 TDs. At this rate he's going to come very close to breaking his career high for catches, yards, and TDs.

Other than Witten what other TE in the NFC is having a better season?

I agree. He is easily one of the top 5 TEs in the game. He's consistent, runs hard, and is easily our number one option;

This guy deserves it. I am pretty sure he will be there ^^

Absolutely - nobody other than Witten is having a better season in the NFC, and the race between Witten and Cooley is close.

Cooley has 7 TDs to Witten's 6, but Witten has a few more yards and a few more catches.

Honestly, in the NFC it's Witten, Cooley, and everyone else. Third on the list is Shockey, and he's only got 3 TDs.

Yeah it really isn't even a question. Plus the big contract ups his stature so that should help. I don't see how he hasn't made it before.

Unfortunately, I think Shockey will steal Cooley's spot. Name-recognition means so much in the Pro Bowl voting process and Shockey has more than Cooley.

I think Cooley gets in this year. What's interesting is that the next game between the two could tip the scale. But give me Cooley all day long any day of the week.

yeah agree with both of ya'll above me. the big $ for cooley helps his rep but playing on a low scoring sub-500 team doesnt. if shockey gets in ahead of cooley its all about name recognition and the mandatory 15 peices of flair.

He is better than top 5. He is the second best (Antonio Gates is by far the best) in my opinion. If you watch him play he does the little things that you love a tight end to do block, be a reliable target etc.. Cool is awesome and he'll be saying aloha to everyone in Hawaii for sure.

W/out question he deserves to go. But remember its a popularity contest. And Shockey is a more popular player.

I just went and voted for the Pro Bowl again and Cooley is the second tight end on the list alphabetically. Maybe his 'name' actually will help him pick up some extra fan votes.

Also, you really need to have two windows open when you are voting for the Pro Bowl, one with the ballot and one where you can sort the stats. For instance, the punter for the 49ers is having a kick ass season and I've never heard of the guy (Andy Lee). Averaging almost 50 yards a kick, 43.9 net average, with 30 kicks inside the 20. You really got to have all those stats up to vote responsibly.

I have been saying this all year this kid is a monster!!! He is our #1 reciever and he's a TE!! If he dont make the PB is STUPID! Also JC is only out 1 Month if we make the playoffs he might be able to play!

He and Cambell both are very calm cool and collected.

IF the Skins were to make the playoffs that would mean Todd Collins had just led them to four straight wins. IF that happens I'd let TC ride it out.

I agree, if Todd Collins can win out and get us into the playoffs I would let him ride too.

As for Cooley, definite pro-bowler. He should definitely get in.

gibbs wouldnt do it though, he's too loyal. look what he did with brunell for the two previous years. good or bad, he sticks with his man, and right now campbell is his man. either way, i would feel comfortable with either qb playing, but i do not think the qb is the problem, but the overly conservative play calling.

oh yeah, and cooley for pb ofco. anyone know if he is doing any appearances soon?
