It's been a rough year for the Skins and their fans,have a Merry Christmas and all stay safe.Anybody doing anything special over the holidays?

For the past two years, my wife and I have hosted an exchange student in addition to our two sons. This year, we have a German girl named Alina. As a surprise, her parents are flying to America and will be saying at a nearby hotel. That, coupled with the regular Chirstmas stuff (26 people for Christmas dinner!) will be excitement enough.

Coupled with a Skins win, that is. I thought that part was understood.

Had all over last night,it was a pretty good party if I do say so myself.Middle daughter and family left to go back to Havlock N.C(son inlaw is station there) so it will be the other two girls and my grandson and father in law ..........very qiuet.:)

Merry Christmas Giantone.

At 6am my family and I take off from BWI.

Land in Cancun Mexico about 1130 am.

Be at pool by 1pm.

Have my tow daughters in their own room on a separate floor in the hotel, so me and Mama get some alooone time.

Come back on the 30th in time to watch the dallas game on Tivo.

Nothing like Xmas in the Carribean.

Funny you mention Festivus, I was [URL="http://www.festivuspoles.com/pages/Festivuspoles.htm"]shopping[/URL] for a Pole the last a few days ago. It's really hard to find quality poles these days.

Merry Christmas folks!!! This big win in Minnesota brings that much more holiday cheer. We get to savor this for a week leading up to a huge Dallas game, how sweet is that???

We will party with family tonight in an annual affair hosted by my wife's best friend, then, spend the night at my daughter's to see the granddaughters open presents in the a.m., then, back to our house, where we will have both kids, and all five grandkids open presents, and of course, eat a sumptuous spread prepared by Mrs. and myself.

Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season, so Merry Christmas to all, and may God grant you good health for a blessed new year!

Sounds good ,ours use to be like that but as the Kids get older and move on you adjust.Having a standing rib roast .........with everything!:)

Hi gang,

Just want to say I just joined the group this morning and look forward to chatting with everyone. I am a lifelong diehard Redskins fan since Vince Lombardi was our coach. My daughter is a Dallas Cowboys fan and for that she is no longer in my will!

Does anyone really celebrate Kwanzaa? I'm Black and I still don't know wtf Kwanzaa is about, even though maybe I should? Its like the mystery holiday.

This is a bit late but I think you guys might enjoy it so I'll say it anyway...

On Christmas Eve my dad's enormous family gets together and one of the traditions is the singing of "12 Days of Christmas..." featuring as many of my grandmother's 13 kids and 50+ grandkids as possible.
This year, after a typically loud and jolly rendition we all started singing "Hail To The Redskins" at the top of our lungs. This was followed by a "We Want Dallas" chant that lasted for a few minutes and almost ended with the severe beating of my cousin's husband (a big dallas fan who was wearing a division champs hat).
This was great in and of itself, but it was made better by the fact that my grandmother sang along as loud as she could while proudly wearing her new Sean Taylor jersey. You guys should have seen how giddy she was when she talked about the game against minnesota (which she recorded and watched after she heard the final score because she says her heart can't take a live game).

It was really a great day!
