Non-Redskin Redskins???
 

I know the title sounds kind of weird, but hear me out. Gibbs used to talk about how certain guys on the team were true "Redskins". Usually a true "Redskin" was a guy who played tough, had a strong character (good guy,) and is also a team player.

If you could pick other players from any other NFL team, who would you think would fit the mold of being a true "Redskin"?

One guy comes to my mind is Marvin Harrison. He has always reminded me of Art Monk. Always quiet and makes his statements by his play on the field. Scores TDs and throws the ball to the official and trots of the field. No "look at me" type of guy. Who are some other non-Redskins players who could be considered a true "Redskin"?

Can we set the rule that former Redskins are ineligible? So we don't get a flood of LaVar, Ramsey, and Pierce

Yes, definitely. I'm thinking of current players who have never put on a Redskins jersey in their life.

Fred Taylor is an excellent choice. What about Dallas Clark? Kind of seems like a Clint Diddier to me.

Bob Sanders. Love the way the guy plays.

I'd also like to say Favre, but he is the face of the Packers, and it is hard to see him playing anywhere else.

One stipulation to this list must be that anyone named cannot be a cowboy since a true Redskin in his prime would never play for the cowboys. I can't imagine Rock Cartwright or any other true Redskin entertaining the idea of suiting up as a cowboy.

True Non-Redskin Redskins means omitted cowboys and possibly NFC East foes.

i beleive barry sanders would of been a great redskin.the way he presented himself or character as it maybe.probabley would of never retired like he did and broke all records as a redskin.what a back!

tom brady. there's really no one that'd make a bigger impact, and he's fairly understated and very team first (one quick complaint about letting branch go in his tenure, and he retracted that the next day... taking less money, putting other players in his commercials, etc).
