The site is very nice...I'm sure that some would like to put a face behind the comments...It is not a competition with any other site but another venue to share Redskins support and/or news...check it out!!

Sorry you feel that way, based on your comment it appears as though your thoughts are that the site is trying to compete for members with Warpath and other Redskins fan based sites. That isn't the intent at all.

It's simply an alternative medium to allow Redskins fans to post and share photo's of themselves, their families, their Redskins memories, player pictures, tailgate pics, etc. and add opinions and comments alike.

So far we have been up and running for only a few weeks and have a lot of members and appear to be growing in membership and popularity. It may not be everyone's first choice, but hopefully some folks will find it a nice alternative to the Warpath and ES.

I've been on the RedSox site for months now!! I love it's awesome..and I imagine that the Skins site is going to do just as well as the Sox site..Both sites are AWESOME!!!

I love this new site with the photos and blogging. Nice job Blitz and I can be on both the Warpath and Redskinsheads and not miss a bit of Skins news!

you started off pretty good about discussing Redskins football but now when I visit it is more like a general discussion board and not a Redskins football board like this one and others

a lot of silly none football stuff going on there and not much football talk

Yeah, your right. Lately it has been a little light on the Redskins talk. I think once we get closer to the draft and into free agency and on to mini camp the Redskins chatter will pick back up.

I think everyone is burned out by the ridiculous manner in which the coach was decided. There is only so much Jim Zorn vs. Jim Fassell that we could talk about.

Don't throw in the towel on us just yet. It'll come back around.

Actually, I just looked at the recent blogs. All are Redskins related except for one. All of the new member photo albums are Redskins related.

Yeah a little less myspace idle chatter type stuff and a little more Redskins and you will have a pretty good team site with the chat and prediction things you got going there.

Yeah, 300 members since January. I'm satisfied. It's because of great fans and great sites like this one that have made it easy to get the ball rolling.

Admittedly, there is some idle chatter, but keep in mind it's the offseason and so far a lot of the members over there have already become pretty close "web" friends. Also, take into consideration the format, it leads to a little more chatter than what you get from a message board format.

I am going to offer weekly prizes once the season gets going. I'll probably use the "Predictions" format to determine the winners.

That might be the case because football season is over. Once the Redskins start playing again the focus could be all about football. Just a guess, on my part however.

I think that you're right but don't you think that if the mods here let this site go because it is the offseason that the nonsense will carry over to the regular season?

Just a week or so ago the mods re-emphasized the need for board etiquette and they were right. Some people would rather go to a football site and talk about the rain but 90% of the members are there to discuss football and the 10% that aren't can really disrupt the flow.

But as you said, his site seems to be a pretty decent site.

I appreciate the kind words and support. Thanks guys. Remember the site is only a few months old and we haven't experienced a full season as of yet. There are more improvements in the works that I think any Redskins fan will enjoy.
