Yeah, they updated that link RIGHT after I posted it. Looks like suicide. Ick. What a waste. And such a cowardly and selfish act. |
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
Wow. Unbelievably tragic
RIP |
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
I'm amazed he did this being that he had a little girl and a blockbuster movie coming out in the summer.
Really sad. RIP. |
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
Just to add to that. More info is becoming available. Apparently the death was accidental and he died at Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment. (Crazy??) Its a gossip site but it's the best I can do for now. Its front page news so you shouldn't have to search.

Update, 5:41pm now officials say it is not owned by Mary Kate Olsen.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
God I hate TMZ, for being terrible reporters and just bad people. I actually feel bad for some celebs, but that is for another thread.

Gah! Damnit. I guess we'll have to give it a few days before the facts get straightened out. |

I think the guy that owns TMZ.. I forget his name Harvey.. something or other. He's okay. But their camera-men/paparazzi are douches. |
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
Isn't TMZ owned by Warner Bros?
|
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
What a tragedy. He was really coming into his own as one of the best Hollywood actors of his generation.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY

Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY

|
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
I was shocked to hear the news.
|
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
Yeah, it's not everyday something happens like this. RIP Heath Ledger, I really liked some of his movies.
|
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
Very shocking and sad. He was a very gifted actor.
|
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
really sad, i liked his movies, i was just watching saturday the movie The Patriot with him and mel gibson and i was thinking how far him and julia stiles had come from the old teen flick they had made long ago 10 thing i hate about you. very sad he was a really good actor.. rip

Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
a really tragic story as others have pointed out mainly because he's leaving behind a 2 year old daughter and had really made it as a big time actor at the age of just 28. Michael Cain had numerous interviews talking about Ledger's incredible ability in taking on the role of the Joker in the upcoming "Dark Knight." I've seen it reported that he's had bouts of depression in his past and unfortunately signs are pointing to that catching up to him but whatever the reason it's just a very sad ending for someone who was just coming into his own.

This feels like River Phoenix all over again

I was saying the same thing to someone at work after a friend had called and told me. They both were at a point in their careers where the world was their oyster and drugs took them both. |

I'm not a tabloid reader or anything, but I've never seen anything negative about him. It's not like we're talking about Lindsay Lohan or anything. Such a shame. |

Well, he did date Lindsay. |

Any murderer could have put those pills there. |

They were all prescription or over the counter. There wasn't any foul play because his housekeeper was in the house with him and checked on him hours before his death. |

True, but it's impossible to find the truth. Plus, you can die from painkiller overdose. |

That's what I think they're leaning towards. I heard police found that all of the pill bottles were nearly full so it wasn't like he was taking pills by the handful, he might have just taken 1 pill too many. Plus he was battling with pneumonia so isn't there a chance that might have killed him as well? |
Re: Heath Ledger found dead in NY
So last week Brad Renfro, this week Heath Ledger,...
So sad |
