Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
I thought we had killed your season when we were up 17-0 at the half in week 3, and I thought for sure we had you when we beat you down at the Meadowlands in December...but damn! WOW WOW WOW
In honor of Giantone...:smashfrea (I totally called it in the prediction thread :) ) |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
i will second that...but damn...i guess me dreams of seeing eli choke horribly are crushed
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Wow! That was an exciting Super Bowl to watch, regardless the outcome. Congrats to the Giants. I'm just glad someone finally beat those Patriots!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrats Giants.
When we win the Super Bowl next year, return the favor! :D |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Hail to ya Giants fans. You all are the least unfavorable of our NFC East brethren in general.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
yes, congrats. i was pulling for the pats but i must say, the giants earned that win. they definately outplayed the pats tonight.
once again, congrats. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Just think. The last two times the Giants have won the Super Bowl, the Redskins have followed up the next season! ;)
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Chalk up up another one for the NFC East.
3 Redskins 3 Gmen? 5 Cowturds 0 Eagles ha ha ha |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Hail!! G-men......Now we see why it's said "Defense Wins Championships" Their defense did a great job tonight.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
YES!!!....Giants win ....wow what heart they showed. Doug Williams presenting how cool.
CONGRATS TO ALL GIANT FANS!!! |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Still hate Strahan though
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congratulations to the Gmen and their fans. There's a lot of hollering outside my window right now.
I suppose I am grateful for not having to hear about how great Boston is from insufferable Sox, Pats, and Celtic fans. But the thought of going into my office tomorrow, chock full of gleeful Giant fans, makes me want to vomit... |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congratulations!
I hate to see another NFC east team win but at the same time it's nice to have the best division in football back! |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrads Giants fans. Next year its our turn, NFC EAST takes OVER! Thats great, to beat the Pats and ruin there "perfect" season.......WELL DONE!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
I'm happy for Coughlin, happy for Eli. Congratulations Giants. They earned it.
F the New England Patriots. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrats! I can no longer say Eli is a joke, he is a good quarterback, but that doesn't mean he is not still a tool. I am jealous, but Im glad the Pats didn't get their perfect season.
Watching Bellichik steaming is awesome. . . ha ha ha Go NFC East, Hopefully Spags will win it for US next year. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrats to the Giants - What a great game - I am now a HUGE Spagnuolo fan lets get him fast!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
For today and today only, HOW ABOUT THEM G-MEN? What a great game probably the best SB ever, considering what was at stake. Congrats to Tom Coughlin the most under appreciated coach, I like him and I'm happy for him. David Tyree should have been the MVP, what a catch at the end of the game!! That was the SB play of the game. Now let's go steal their DC!!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
One helluva game the Giants played. I thought the pats were gonna score at the end, but apparently not!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
The Giants outmuscled the Patriots. Smash mouth football.
Great defensive game. The Giants defensive line deserves a share of the MVP award. Osi Umneyora, Michael Strahan and Justin Tuck were unstopable. Did Wr Tyree have his eyes open when he caught that Manning deperation throw on the last drive? He landed on the ground with the ball behind his head. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Now I get to catch blowback from all of my friends who are Giants fans, but it will be worth it to see all the Pats fans eat crow...
besides, that guaranteed a win for us next year...lol :D Congrats to the G-men... |

I got Giants diehards in my office too, but i'll step up and shoot em their congrats - first for knocking off the Pats, second for shoving Tiki's words down his throat, and most important, for keeping #21 on their helmets up to tonight. Of course the "love" blows out the window on Tuesday. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Yes, congrats guys. I bet the Skins open at the Meadowlands for the first game of the 2008 season.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Big props to the G-men. I was rooting so hard for them, as strange as that sounds.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Thanks to all the Fans here at The Warpath and as I've have said before the classest bunch of Skins fans around!:food-smil
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Well Giantone once again I have to laugh at myself for telling you after week two that you guys needed to rebuild. Great great game.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
I'm definitely eating a lot of crow right now. Congrats, Giants nation. It was a well-played game.

Yeah, me too. Glad to see I wasn't the only Redskin fan breaking the rules tonight. I just can't stand the Patriots. |

Congrats Giantone. Great game, great win, thanks for knocking off those F'g Pats and their perfection*. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Not much else you can say but congrats to the Giants. They did what they had to do, and I was very happy to see them beat the Patriots.
And seriously...F Bellicheck for the way he acted at the end of the game. That pissed me off. |

Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrats Giants fans. I've been pulling for this team since they went balls out in a game that "didn't matter" in week 17.
BTW- Did anyone else think that Chris Myers interview with BB was the most uncomfortable q + a in history? |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrats Coggs & Giantone! Congrats Giants!

Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
congrats Giants and fans. Even though people kept saying this Super Bowl was going to suck it was one of the most exciting games i've seen, mostly cause I bet $75 and won $255... I was kind of doubting you guys during the game at some points but you pulled through and made what a lot of people thought was going to be a boring game into a very exciting game... (still a lil drunk so sorry if anything is mispelled) Congrats Giantone and Coggs
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
This was definitely one of the most exciting Super Bowl's that I've seen in recent memory. I have much respect for the Giants after tonight and congrulations Coggs and Giantone because once again the Giants are the world champions. Never have I been so happy and so sad at the same time, happy because the Patriots perfect season was all for naught, and sad because a division rival has claimed the title of world champions. All the same though the 07 Giants will go down as David to New England's Goliath.
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
what i don't get is how the patriots (who won the last 3 superbowls they were in by 3, 3, and 3 points, and beat the giants just a few weeks earlier by 3 points) were 13 point favorites...
i mean, the steelers, and then the colts were locks, but pats by 13? jeez, no thanks. so much for best offense ever i suppose. they really could have used the hogs in that game. |
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
Congrads NY . Now all we need is another pass rusher , OL-Men and a Big WR and we can win our 4th V. Lombardi Trophy next year . Happy new near !!!
|
Re: Congratulations Coggs and Giantone
As a Skins fan, it is my duty to hate the Giants, and the other members of the Rivals NFC East. Yet, it cannot be denied the G-men did what was thought impossible. BEAT the Pat's. That D just refused to quit! Great job.
They made a lot of Dophins fans REAL happy as well. Special congrats to Ely. He can hold up his head at Thanksgiving dinner this year |
