Madden 08 couple questions
 

First of all what system do u guys all play on? I play 360 and after every offseason in franchise the game freezes when i simulate the preseason. So i have to start a new franchise only to have it happen again...and again. Does anyone else ever have a problem like this. Even with a different disc it still does it. Or it could be that its cuz we have 4 people in the franchise and it cant handle it but its bull shit.

I play PS3 and there are 7 guys in my franchise and we have no problems

Wii. I just got Madden for it and I'm only 5 games into the season. I will let you know if I have any problems.

try simming your game only, then the rest of the week every week during the preseason. I don't ususally sim any of the games because I like to build my backup's stats up in the preseason, but I have done it and done it one game at a time with no problem. I do that to check for any major injuries if i don't feel like playing the preseason.

Hey, I am trying to get a fran. going with another co-worker but it doesnt seem to work. I start a fran. with 2 users and then it goes to the team page, but how do you get to the other users team?

This is for the PS2 by the way, but it should be pretty close to the others.

Back before my 360 ate my third (THIRD!!!) copy of Madden, i had an issue where the game would lock up whenever it was loading the training drills. It would happen if the 360 had run for a while and was getting hot. I gave up on the game and bought NCAA 08, and have been very happy.

mine does this as well every single time, but training is so hard i usually dont bother. My 360 recently broke when the red light started flashing si i sent it away to be fixed. This is my last hope for madden 08.

franchise freezes are usually depth chart issues... on PC you can use nza's editor to flip control of all teams to human, fix problems, and then flip them back... on anything else, you're probably a bit hosed, though you might want to try using a different roster to see if it helps.

can you have online franchises in madden now? I havent made any time to play the most recent one, even though Ive had it sicne the day it came out...

but for years I always only played franchises with my college roomate, but we are in different states now and hated that we still coulnt play.

No, they had it in Madden 06, but then decided to get rid of it just like every other good thing for the new systems.

damn I was hoping they did.

they had it in 06 though? on ps2? weird ill have to go plug that in and try it, id go back and play that if they did.

i just tried looking it up online and couldnt find anything, found a couple sites that said it would be in 09 cause nba live adn the other ea sports games have it

I had 06 for xbox. It wasn't actually called online franchise, but there was something called ea locker when you go online. You could save your franchise in the ea locker and then whoever your playing with could go into your locker and load it. Then they could play and save it in their locker and when you want to play again, you just load it from their locker. You can't both play it at the same time with this though. When you have to play each other, you can export the game from the franchise, play it online, and then import the results back into the franchise.

Thanks, thats what I was looking for. Ill have to try it on ps2 06 and see if it works. its a lot of work but its better than nothing

I've had the problem in the past with my 360. It seems every year around this time I'm forced to either buy another copy of Madden, or wait until the new one(I always wait). Mine will freeze if I try to sim more than 2 weeks at a time, and going into the off-season. Good luck.
