Re: How to start a gun-free zone
Ahhh yes, fair and balanced "reporting."
|
Re: How to start a gun-free zone
haha, funny seeing this after commenting yesterday about a "drug free zone" sign at a local school. I was like "Oops, can't bring my drugs inside now. Silly me!"
|
Re: How to start a gun-free zone
too bad that the law doesn't enforce its own guide lines. the gun free zone would work, if the scum would have to actually serve the mandatory sentencing. too many plea agreements reduce sentences. i wonder what side of the fence fox news is on gun control?

I don't think this was ever presented as "reporting". The youtube clip originally aired during a comedy show called The 1/2 Hour News Hour. It is similar to the Daily Show. ;) |

Ahhhh yes, this was not on a news report. |

Sorry, didn't see that big smiley on the post. :silly: |

Was it on a 24 hour "news channel". Fox was never a news channel anyway. It has been the mouthpiece for the crazy right wingers since its inception. I guess we'll just keep letting crazies get guns and the NRA pump money into Fox to put their slant out. It has worked so well so far. |
Re: How to start a gun-free zone
ohh, opening up a can of worms. Wait until Buster sees this, tsk tsk.

I think you should start a gun free zone and post it on your door and yard so everyone can see. |

Well........it would give the locals something to aim at? |

So the guy should, in your view, set himself up to be shot? Kinda harsh, don't ya think? |

I like how gun nuts never have a decent argument or use their "brains" to make a point they just make lame attacks on others. Good job. |

To be fair even though attacking you wasn't the right thing to do, you started the seriousness with your "right wingers" comment. All Buster was trying to do was draw a few laughs and then you made it all serious, and as a result of being a "party pooper" so to speak that's why firstdown replied like that. And his attack wasn't really that personal, if someone told me to put up a gun free zone sign in my yard I really wouldn't read too much into it. |
Re: How to start a gun-free zone
I think most banks actually do post these signs up.
Sure works well there, doesn't it? |
Re: How to start a gun-free zone
Forget concealing firearms, I say everyone walks about with an M-60 in plain view, a few hand grenades strapped to the chest, and a K-bar strapped to each leg. That would surely reduce violence.

Actually, I am partial to an M134 Gatlin Gun for home defense. Of course, I have to stock on extra plaster and drywall. It's also useful for targeting pesty squirrels and that stray cat the keeps wandering into the yard. YouTube - M134 Gatling Gun vs. M240 |

First off I do not own a gun and never have owned a gun. My point was the extrem but the point was a person would not stick this on their yard or house because they would then become a target for crime. Gun free zones would and do have the same effect. |

Doesn't work too well in Israel/Palestine though. :D |

Actually Isreal has a low murder rate of around 2.5 people per 100,000. |
