NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
nfl.com said the cowboys want randy moss!!!
|
Re: cowboy going after randy moss
Cowboys are also rumored to be going after Walker and Stallworth. Bottom line, WR seems to be a priority for them. All the more reason DB should be for us.
|
Re: cowboy going after randy moss
d hall forsure!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: cowboy going after randy moss
Wow, Randy Moss and T.O. on the same team? That can either be a nightmare for us or a nightmare for the Cowboys.
|
Re: cowboy going after randy moss
Well we better get Hall or we better sign Moss, if not were screwed!! Thats no joke

Oh and about your grammar, the way you wrote the sentence it didn't make sense so I was helping you out. |

I can't see Moss and Owens co-existing on the same team. I see 3-4 games everything is peachy and then it all goes to hell. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
SO.... now we blast Jerry Jones for trying to be Dan Snyder right?
|
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
I'd welcome the move. There is no way they could keep both happy, let alone Moss, T.O., Walker, and Stallworth. The Cowboys clearly aren't trying to add youth to their receiving corps.

Im not blasting him. A Snyder on another team is a good thing.:) |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
Haven't we seen this movie before, where an overzealous owner screws up team chemistry by bringing in old big name guys, the team generates a lot of preseason hype, and then flops during the season? I would absolutely love to see this happen.
|
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
And I also bet that they will trade both their #1 picks and move up on the draft and get Darren McFadden.
|
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
not gonna happen. Moss hates the Boys because they passed on him in the draft. Do you think honestly that Snyder would let the best statistical reciever go to Dallas without a attempt to get him. That not the Snyder at all.

Link please!! NFL.com is also reporting Moss is in the process of working out a new contract with NE. |

Here's something:

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Rumors are always flying around right before free agency starts. Moss is going to stay with NE.
|
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
Moss and TO in the same locker room? No way in hell this happens.
Not to mention Dallas just picked up TO's rather large option and Randy Moss is going to get BIG money. I just don't see this happening. The "real 81" and Moss together? Yeah right. |

Well although Moss would probably grant some concessions to NE, he is going to demand a market-deal and if NE is not willing to match it or at least come close to matching it I believe Moss absolutely will bolt. He's not going to play for 3 million plus incentives again. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
God, I can't stand the cowboys.. And to think all these years the cowboys have made fun of us for going after the high priced FA.
Moss isnt going anywhere, he likes playing with brady and remember what brady said " IF moss goes, I go" |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
IT doesn't matter, I also heard the cowboys are packaging up both their 1st's and a 2nd and next years 2nd to move into the 1st spot from miami to grab mcfadden....... so, i dunno what to believe...

............very good!:food-smil |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
so they might've talked to his agent to see what his price is. Not surprising that they might've talked, but it will be if he signed w/them.
|
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
Let's also remember this isn't Brady throwing them all the ball.
Honestly though, the way Romo chucks prayers up, it might work out for Moss. |

Where did you hear this? Do you have a link? Personally I would love to see this happen. That's WAY too much to give up for McFadden. |

My vote is a nightmare for the Cowboys. If this rumor pans out, could you imagine day 1 in the locker room... Moss to T.O. "I'm #81" T.O. to Moss "No, I'm #81" And so it begins.............................. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
Sounds like a great Madden lineup but realistically I'm not sure how Moss and TO would work out. I think the universe might explode by bringing those two together.

D Hall can't cover TO or Moss. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
D. Hall is already pissing and moaning about his name being mentioned in potential trades. We don't need his shitty attitude here.

Why is everyone hitting the panic button like Randy Moss already signed with the Cowboys |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
i brought this up in another thread, but don't know how to post it. almost 2 weeks ago. ( as i pat myself on the back)

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
in a year where Washington says they are not going to be big players in the FA pool, seems as though they may want to. Dallas is talking about Randy Moss, Stallworth, Javon Walker, they signed Zach Thomas. The G-men are trying to get Deangelo Hall to improve an all ready damn good defense, and now the Eagles are talking about making a run at Asante Samuel. Its early, but if these teams improve as much as they are rumored to be, we need to make some sort of move. I would be more inclined on making a move to bring a top notch corner vs a WR.

This is the exact sort of response these sorts of rumors are trying to achive. There will be a ton of rumors before free-agency...much of it are agents posturing to get teams to up the price for their players. Teams are also willing to throw out red herrings to get teams to make moves they did not intend to make...in an effort to hurt their competitors long term. The Skins need to have a plan and stick to it, regardless of what the competition does. On top of that...this one looks like a flimsy rumor based on one thing....the Cowboys are one of the teams that would LEAST need Randy Moss. He has a big ego and is not young and would not mesh well with TO. This look like an attempt to get an NFC team, other than Dallas, to ante up for Moss before (shaking in our boots) the dreadful Cowboys sign him. I say....its an obvious bluff. |

key word is "talking". We've been "talking" about Roy Williams, Chad Johnson, Trufant and many others. Moss isn't leaving NE, they'll pony up for him. Stallworth - fast but nothing special, Walker - injury problems, plus we have been rumored to be talking to him, Zach Thomas - who cares. D. Hall - overrated & psycho, the Falcons are wanting a #1 for him and in the same article as the Moss rumor it mentions the Giants aren't willing to pay Hall's asking price, Asante Samuel - did you see the Super Bowl & there are rumors his best days are in the rear-view. Plus any of these guys that can play (Moss, Hall, Samuel) will demand a mega-contract that will eat a tremendous amount of cap space or have major cap ramifications within 3-4 years. We need to stay on course; target 2-4 reasonably priced FAs (Hackett, Florence) who fill specific needs and draft DL & CB in the 1st & 2nd round. We don't need to break the bank on an overpriced FA CB. Outside of Samuel & Hall, what top-level FA CBs are out there who could help us. Asomugha & Trufant were franchised. |
