ketchup or no ketchup
 

Me and my brother were arguing this morning about whether it is weird to put ketchup on eggs and syrup on them I always thought it was weird to put ketchup on eggs I hate the way it makes it taste I was wondering what you guys are thinking?

I've never heard of syrup on eggs, hate catsup on eggs. I love syrup on scrapple.

Ketchup at breakfast? No Thanks. Ive accidentily scooped eggs off my plate hitting some leftover syrup from pancakes and that tasted pretty good, but just about everything tastes good with syrup. (Breakfast food that is)

no ketchup... I do put a little mixed with hot sauce on home fries or hash browns, though.

Butter is essential for waffles and pankakes, dmek...

love Cholua!!! I put on everything. Tabasco sauce and Cholua is all you should put on my eggs in my opinion.

When I eat eggs I rock the Heinz and love it. My father-in-law uses ketchup on his steak, and I think that is all types of wrong. But, that Cholua looks good, I might just give that a chance.

I've heard of ketchup on eggs but I'd never do it. I wouldn't put syrup on my eggs either unless I'm eating pancakes, which in that case, it's hard to separate the eggs from the syrup so I just deal.

For awhile when I was a kid, I used to mix ketchup in my grits though.

I like ketchup on scrambled eggs. My buddy loved it, and he made me try it. I tried it, and at first I thought it was OK...I tried it again, and I was hooked. You have to have the right amount though, otherwise it's not so good.
Don't knock it until you've tried it people.

eeeewwwww...grits are gross. hahaha...can't stand grits.

Forgot about the syrup...I have never tried or heard of anyone using syrup on eggs...gonna have to try that now.

ps- mayo is disgusting on anything. I know I'm in the minority here when I say that, but I do have a stomach allergy to it that kind of helps me lean on the "hate it" side. Just not the same when you taste it on the re-run.

I thought I was the only person in the entire world who had stomach problems with mayo. But, even if I didn't, I would never eat the stuff. It's just nasty.

I don't know how people eat stuff drenched in mayo. If I ever use mayo I use a very light spread.

Have you guys ever seen those eating championships where they just give people a huge tub of Mayo and they just go at it? Eating as much as they can in the allotted amount of time?

During thanksgiving they ate turkey and cranberry sauce.

I've also seen people do boiled eggs and sticks of butter.

Sick stuff man.

Nope, not the only one.
My mother tried to sneak it in my food without my knowledge. She put it in something, I enjoyed it (couldn't taste it at all), then went to throw up. She then apologized and told me she put mayo in the food. It was then a doctor told us that there are several thousands of people that have the same problem with mayo. Apparently it's not uncommon. Just most people like that white crap. :D

I love french fries + old bay + vinegar + ranch dressing. Heaven!

I also know people who love dipping their McDonalds fries, into a vanilla milkshake. Apparently its really good.

They must be Wisconsinites. I love Madison (the rest of Wisconsin not so much), but these people eat some of the most disgusting food. They will roll just about anything in batter, fry it, put some melted cheese on top, and cover it with a dressing. How these people are not all dead by 30 escapes me.

Try being married into a Hungarian family. Some of the stuff they eat... nevermind... Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn.

My aunt is Hungarian and she's made some decent stuff. Hungarian goulash is pretty good stuff.

1) Eggs = salt and pepper only, unless scrambled, then mix in cheddar cheese.
2) Pancakes = syrup, if the syrup t ouches the eggs then no big deal.
3) Banana sandwich = mayo
4) French fries = Old Bay, pepper or Mrs Dash table blend. (Wendy's frosty, ketchup or milkshake are acceptible).
5) Ranch dressing is Satan's semen, don't put it on anything!
