That was an interesting story...they all lie about injuries...a lot could ruin thier contracts.

I severely wounded my foot stepping on a coke glass one time when I was going to bed. One time I cut my leg open on a swing set. I got a blackeye from a wiffle ball game. Stuff like this happens and it's a shame that in a post Pacman Jones world we assume that anybody who gets hurt was in a knife fight.

Usually when you here something accidentally got cut across their forearm people think suicide, like a razor blade cut him across the wrist. I truly hope that it was just an accident and nothing self inflicted.

I really doubt that. Marshall "had severed an artery, a vein and a nerve in his forearm along with tendons to five muscles". That doesn't sound like an attempted suicide. That damage sounds too extensive to be self inflicted.

I can definitely see horseplay getting out of hand and that happening.. I know I broke PLENTY of lamps as a kid playing around so 2 adults wrestling in an enclosed space can certainly result in putting an arm thru an entertainment center. It's too much of a stretch to assume he got stabbed. Some people just expect the worst all the time.

Now there could be some vaugeness in 'wrestling' as to whether it was a fight or not, but what happens in the family stays in the family.

The veins and artery in his arm got cut open. That doesn't sound like horseplay that got out of control. If that was the case he might have a cut lip or a black eye. He could die from something like that. Perhaps I'm wrong but I guess we'll never know.

I saw Cutlers' comments last night. At first I was taken back, but then I was like good for him for speaking out and having some balls. Marshall's injury is something that hurts the entire team not just himself.

Regardless of his previous behavioral habits I really do like this kid. He's got all the attributes a great receiver needs, and I think he could end up being one of the premier receivers in this league. Hate to see something like this happen.
