Pacman to Boys for player and pick?
 

According to rotoworld.com. Not sure how solid this source is as the site states. Cowboys would give up a second day pick and an unnamed player to get Pacman Jones.

How would you feel if the Skins made this offer?

I would really be disappointed in the Skins if they did what the Cowpukes seem to be doing.

depends on the player, depends on the pick....

pacman's a first rate talent. a first rate dumbass, as well. but his ability is unquestionable.

if the titans would accept a 5th round pick (which they almost certainly would), and a player we can spare and they can use (ladell betts, maybe) and pacman is willing to agree to a very reasonable contract (which he apparently is) - let's say a one year term, with a 1 year team option, a low base, performance incentives and a behaviour clause to protect us from future dumbassness - i would welcome the little miscreant with open arms.

I'd take a one year deal on this guy. What do you have to lose? Whatever contract this clown gets is going to be so incentive laden that it will be drastically weighted in the team's favor. If he is able to keep out of trouble, resign him and pay him more in line with what he (based solely on "on the field" performance) deserves. I think JJ is making a very smart move by signing him. That said, if Snyder signed Pacman, every sportswriter in the country's head would explode with sheer joy.

Id only agree if it was first discussed in the exact same thread the day before!

I mean, I think Im on my own on this site thinking that giving up a 5th round pick for a top corner would be worth the risk of him turning around

Well, I would not like it. We have a team full of good character guys, and I believe that a rotten apple spoils the bunch. Pacman is one of the worst rotten apples I've ever seen in football. He is a cancer, and he will eventually hurt the cowboys. Maybe not this year, but he will eventually.
Just like cancer grows quietly for a while, then you start losing weight, then eventually it tries to kill you unless you cut it out, and even then it's too late...so will be Pacman to the cowboys.

So congrats to the cowpatties!!! :D

I would be happy if he came to us, but I'd be willing to also give him a chance and see how he performs on and off the field.

For what logical reason would you be happy about getting this criminal suiting up in the B&G? Also, giving up a late draft and a player for someone thats not even reinstated in the league, is that a smart move?

The only thing I'd be happy about in reference to Pactird is a lifetime ban (he hasn't IMO earned the privilege to play in this league) or IF reinstated off to the cowgirls, the #1 trash collector in the NFL.

Ok if you are Jerry Jones look at it like this:

Do I feel Pacman will screw up again? Possible but probably not because Pacman does want to play football he is totally against the wall no more accidents can happen or his career is over seriously now.

Will I find a first round talent in this draft in the 5th or 6th round anyway? Nope I doubt

How many 5th or 6th round players can start immediate from day one? None

How many 5th or 6th round players make the roster? only a couple probably?

Is a cornerback a need for my ball club? Yes

If I acquire Pacman will I really lose on this deal? I can't see it unless Pacman messes up and gets banned from the NFL which won't cost me a thing.

Have I succeed with other players that had off the field problems or conduct in field? T.O. & Tank Johnson

It's an easy decision based on this questions that what he is asking himself and the ofer increase is to hurry up so a team like the Pats can't go after him.
