Khary Campbell

I have never heard of him... but he is listed as leading the team in tackles on special teams. I am sure there is a cost, and I don't know what it is. I am only listing this because I try to get everything in VA on here (the source is Autograph Signings - SigningsHotline.com ) :

good post! he is a very hard working backup MLB who is very underrated on special teams.

You've never heard of Khary Campbell? He's been a stud on special teams for us since 2004. He's started a couple of games for us, I think even this year for Rocky Mac.

He deserves some props

Re: Khary Campbell

Man I hate it how every player on our team that is unknown to the general public deserves props somewhere on this site. I guess he deserves props for making it to the NFL, but besides that, hes pretty insignificant to our team. Leading special teams in takles is good i guess, but realistically its not worth mentioning...our best players dont play special teams all the time, if he was any good he'd be making takles on defense. And btw I believe we got rushed on for over 200 yards and got destroyed when he started at MLB.

Never heard of him? Wow.

He definitely deserves some props. It's only when your special teams goes to shit that everyone notices.

Damn dude we need to swap names because you are more angry than I. Maybe a little rum or a trip to a psychiatrist might do you some good. He is a solid and consistent contributor, which is more than what we do by yelling at the TV screen on Sunday. Here's a tip for you, they can't hear us.

Honestly I know the name of every active player on the roster. I don't know that it is too much to expect fans who frequent message boards to do so as well. In any case I think Khary Campbell should be a rather well known player cosidering the amount of playing time he gets simply on special teams alone.

Nice signature, it takes the intelligence of a two year old to come up with something so enlightening. So, I will take the liberty to do-un to you as you have done unto others.

Giants: Great Season, but I'm really feeling a super bowl slump! I actually picked you to go to the super bowl prior to the playoffs starting.

Redskins: Up and coming, playoffs twice in three years, ready to take the next step with a young a refreshing outlook.

Denim_Monger: Completely disgraceful, utterly disrespectful, babbling idiot!

Re: Khary Campbell

Please don't let these silly posts interupt threads, really isn't worth reading through.

Khary Campbell deserves some props for playing spec. teams & as a situational MLB in the goal line package. He seems to be pretty stout v. the run, but I think his coverage ability is limited so he doesn't get much playing time. He's one of a handful of guys whose job could be in jeopardy in camp if they bring in some young LBs.

Honestly, if you're a true fan of the team, you gotta know every player on the team, even if he's a backup LB.

But it's not like he was a rookie free agent last year, the guy has been on our team for like four years now. Everyone should be well aware of who he is and have a good appreciation for what he does for us.

Re: Khary Campbell

Didnt Khary Campbell have a brother that played for us? By played i mean, practice squad (LB). For some reason I remember this being talked about.

Regardless, hes a very good utility player, you always see #50 downfield on kick returns, usually at the bottom of the pile. Not sure how good he is otherwise but the coaches seem to like his work ethic I guess.

Whoever posted the thread i'm not sure why you havent heard of him, maybe just by chance, btu he has been a very solid special teamer for us for years.

I do, since gettin things all riled up is the order of the day around here anyway.

How can you collect player memorabilia and not know who's on the team?

First, I have said MANY times, I don't collect current players. Second off, I have enough of a life that I don't have time to memorize the roster.... it is also not a legal requirement to know who is the back up linebacker to be a fan of a team.

Well....if the 50's are the new 30's then the 30's have to be the new 15's ? right?

I shouldn't have lumped all N.Yorkers or Northerners in that catogory. Sorry. I simply meant him. We should help him out with the sounding out of some teams though:
1. J-I-ANTS.
2. EE-GLES.
3. RED-SKINS.
4. D-AL-ASS.

Also how hard is it to not know we have two Campbell's on the team? Did you all know we have two Marcus's on the team? Maybe a couple of Rocks on the team. A couple of Anthony's, we had a number of shawn, Saun, Shaun's.

The only reason I remember Khary is because of Jason Campbell, and yes he did play well during the season when asked to step up.

He started one game in the past two years, and that was against the Colts, and Joseph Addai had like 80 yards and Dominic Rhodes had about 20 yards if I'm correct, so those number don't add up to 200, I think.

Re: Khary Campbell

I now feel bad that I actually ROOTED for the Giants to beat the Patriots in the Superbowl. You root for the underdog...they win...and suddenly their fans act as though their shit doesn't stink. If they had lost...they'd say "at least we got there" and crap like that so it JUST DOESN'T MATTER as Bill Murray said in 'Meatballs'. One thing I can say about Redskin fans...and this comes from my best friend who happens to be a Vikings season ticket holder..."Redskin fans are the classiest fans in the league- you actually don't feel like your life is in danger when you go to their stadium"...as he put it. And we don't talk nearly as much trash as other fans. Giants have won 3 superbowls right? Yeh, so have we. Calm down.
