I was just reading this book yesterday. I would have NEVER guessed eat a quarter pounder (no cheese), but don't eat grilled chicken sandwich at McDonalds

I've made cheese fries with bacon and ranch on my own and they're DELICIOUS.

I've eaten McDonalds chicken strips before, but I haven't tried any of that other stuff. I do have to say, those cheese fries from Outback's look delicious though, unfortunately I'm not gonna be trying them any time soon. I love cheese fries with ranch dressing and bacon, it's the best combination ever lol.

I have the book, got it as a Christmas gift. It's pretty cool how it breaks down the restaurant and what to stay away from.

I'm afraid to see how many I've eaten...
Chipotle Burrito, Quiznos' Classic Italian (but not a large one), Chili's Blossom, Aussie Cheese Fries - 4 I guess isn't too bad.

Worst Supermarket Food: Check
Worst Mexican Entree: Check
Worst Sandwich: Check
Worst Burger: Sort of Check (I've had the Hardee's Monster Burger that has to be close)
Worst Chinese Entree: Check
Worst Chicken Entree: Check (I think)
Worst Nachos: Check
Worst Starter: Check
Worst Food In America: Check

What I think is funny is that people are so quick to say fast food is so bad (McDonald's, Wendy's, etc...)

When the really criminals are the popular chain restaurants (Fridays, chili's, Outback, etc...)
they just load it up on you. I am surprised Friday's fried mac and cheese balls are not on there.

Thing is, a lot of those "Eat This" items aren't all that good for you either really.

Not so bad if that's your whole meal and you get water (with a lemon) to drink.


OK...still full of fat but I want to try them. :D

I'll just stick with my home made ones I guess. Use potato wedges or steak fries. YUM.

i think the only one I'v had is the chipotle chicken burrito. Usually that's a two meal ordeal, though. You have to be a glutton for punishment to try to tackle one of their burritos in one sitting

A child shouldn't exceed that kinda calorie count for an entire day. McDonald's might have every right to sell what they want but that doesn't make it morally right to sell that kinda stuff to kids. Also, if you give McDonald's that kind of freedom why not the tobacco and alcohol companies?

p.s. I understand parental responsibility I'm just saying.

The only one I've had on that list is PF Chang's pork lo mein.....and that shit is really good, IMO.

I always wanted to try the McD's chicken strips, but never did and probably never will now.
