F...pollen
Not because of allergies, but because I can't keep my damn car clean! I just had it washed yesterday and today it looks like big bird sneezed all over it. The pollen seems really bad this year.
|
Re: F...pollen
YES! The F...threads are back and I agree, pollen is not only crappy for the nose and head, but will destroy your car with that ugly green film.
|
Re: F...pollen
Seriously!!! My car is dark green so you'd think it wouldn't be too bad but it is.
This morning as I walked up to it I said out loud in an Eric Cartman-like voice "Moooooom, that oak tree splewged on my caaaar." I'm afraid I may be going completely insane. |
Re: F...pollen
Well I say F Pollen because of my allergies. I can't go out and enjoy a nice summer day without seeing yellow green colored balls of death floating around. Glazing cars, blowing in the wind, tickling my nose and then all through my sinuses letting me know, that I am F'd ! The next thing you know my nose starts itching, then my throat, next comes my eyes, ..... then wait for it.......wait for it......wait for it......... That's right,.... the big sneeze. F'n F Pollen. F Pollen in the A !
F Cherry Blossoms while I'm at it. Seriously, I CANNOT be the only person in the world who thinks that those have to be one of the shittiest smelling things around. For some reason people come out from far away to enjoy in this snitkfest. I F'N HATE THEM ! AHHHHHHH F CHERRY BLOSSOMS ! This is all connected. ONCE the SMELLY CHERRY BLOSSOMS COME ALONG.......pssssssst guess what else comes around that time ? Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it. F'N POLLEN THAT'S WHAT ! F POLLEN AND F' F'N CHERRY BLOSSOMS ! and the Dallas Cowboys ! F THEM ALL IN THE A ! |
Re: F...pollen
It's raining here in our neck of the woods today, and where there are puddles you can see a film of green grainy pollen floating around the edges of every puddle. It's nasty.
This is one time of the year where a good soaking rain is the best thing ever. It cleans all that crap off. F pollen indeed. |

I might get a tickle in my nose but overall it doesn't bother me too much. My wife on the other hand is pretty bad when it comes to just about any sort of allergy. Pets, pollen, you name it. |
Re: F...pollen
Oh Matty I feel so bad for your wife. Pollen and pet allergies are horrible. I hate cats, not just because they are sneaky little pets of Satan but their fur holds so much dander it is ridiculous. Claritin-D is my medicine of choice now.

Re: F...pollen
I played a doubleheader last night, and with the wind kicking the pollen around, we were eating it like snowflakes on a cold, winter's day. Hopefully the rain over the next several days washes it out. My 7 month old has a bad case of allergies, up half the night, which means Mommy and Daddy were too. Talk about being a zombie.

Thats what happens when you buy a black car it shows everything. |
Re: F...pollen
yeah I know black shows everything and that's the price I pay, but I'm seeing this crap all over everyone's cars. The other day there was so much pollen blowing around it looked like it was snowing.

The pollen is especially bad this year due to the unexplained deaths of millions and millions of bees! Instead of bees performing their cross pollenating acitivites the pollen is just blowing around in the air. They also predict crop yeilds to be way down because the bees are not there to perform the cross pollenation that is needed. Just a little FYI |
Re: F...pollen
Two years ago I had a honeybee hive make it's home in my bathroom wall. There's nothing quite like the sound of hundreds of bees humming furiously four feet away from you while you're trying to do your business.

that would suck. I don't mind bees, but I when I lived in Amissville, we had a wasp problem that would be so overwhelming the first warm day after a long cold spell, it looked like a horror flick. You couldn't approach the house, and you could knock them down with a broom stick with every swing. Once I awoke to find a red wasp crawling up my naked thigh while I was in bed, and I screamed like a woman and completely spazzed out. I think that was the moment my wife lost the last bit of respect she had for me as a man. |

I hear ya man. I have allergies now that I live in the Southwest, and one of the worst for me is Pecan trees. They have a green pollen that puts a fine dust all over your vehicles. I am very happy that zyrtec is over the counter now. I've been on it for 3 years. |

I was running late for a wedding and flew out of the house and jumped in the car. As soon as I started the car, the sucker stings me on my inner thigh. So I'm yelling and trying to get it out from under my skirt and the thing lands on the console. Let me just say those suckers are hard to kill, but I prevailed in the end. So now I'm woozy from all the adrenaline pumping, I'm really running late now and I have to sing the opening song at this wedding. I arrived, still woozy, walked straight to the stage and performed like nothing happened. Yeah, that was fun, but the show must go on! |
Re: F...pollen
If you F pollen, you'll be all yellow down there. :(
No, I do agree. I washed both of my cars on the weekend. Beautiful, sunny day. 2 hours later my cars were yellow and I had to get a dusting mit out and brush them off. |
Re: F...pollen
I was almost ready to F....allergies. I guess I'm too late. I feel like I've been dying here the last few weeks. Congestion, watery eyes, nose, no sleep. F...this pollen.
I never had allergies until 5 or 6 years ago. Finally got tested last year. I'm allergic to everything: trees, my dog, grass, virtually everything outside. Seeing i like to spend alot of time outside, i'm screwed. Alright, i'm done. |
Re: F...pollen
Ugh I've been stuffed up and miserable all day
|
Re: F...pollen
Seriously, F...pollen. Allergy season came way early this year for me...started sneezing late Feb but now things have gotten down.
|
Re: F...pollen
The pollen has been awful this year. Thankfully I don't have any allergies, but I have plenty of friends that are just totally miserable right now. Sneezing, runny eyes and nose, scratchy throat, headaches... man I feel bad for them. Sucks. My fiancee takes Claritin during allergy season, and it really helps her. She's been fine so far. My boss takes Allegra and says it works well for him. Once a day and he's good. But he forgot to take it today and said his eyes felt like they were on fire all day.
Since we had such a wet winter here in the DC area and then it warmed up so fast, it just caused the flora to explode. |
Re: F...pollen
f..... pollen!!!!
Every 3 or 4 years it bothers me horribly.. so far it hasn't cars are looking mad ugly though.. local carwash has on their sign "POLLEN IS NOT A CAR COLOR" or something like that |
Re: F...pollen
Sneezing, runny eyes and nose, scratchy throat, headaches, nope not me. I can snort pollen and roll around the yard and feel fine. Ok, I was rubbing it in some but my wife goes through it every year so I do suffer some from what she goes through.
