Kidwell should at least be here to help commemorate this ceremony. Personally, I'd like to thank all the users who signed up just so they can create a thread that's been done 50 times before, without them all this wouldn't be possible.

The NET was shut down because it turned into a chat thread.

It morphed into something unspeakable and no one could be saved, not even the children. I now refer to it as "the thread that shall not be named". We dare not speak of it, for it is evil incarnate.

I always just called it the "Quake goes from 200 to 4000 posts in 10 days" thread.

top ten reasons i don't have a higher post per day ratio:
10. flood protection makes me wait between posts.
9. there simply aren't enough new offseason threads to talk about how much i love madden.
8. smootsmack likes to lock the threads where i proclaim my ongoing and undying hatred of him ;/
7. huddle got booted
6. i don't feed trolls
5. there simply aren't enough annoying people here to try and argue off the site
4. it's considered bad manners to argue with ones self
3. i hate smootsmack.
2. I don't really care that much
1. I'm not kidwell
