Where on TV is tonights game playing?
I don't see it even in re-broadcast on the NFL network. Does anyone know who is carrying it, if anyone?
|
Fox
|
I think its a national game, but in the DC area:

Skins on twice in the preseason, that's rare in my area
|
FOX, it's a national game
|
I wonder who the commentators are?

Their "A" team....Joe Buck, Aikman, and Collinsworth. |
Looks like Buck, Collinsworth and Aikman are calling the game tonight...

At least its not Jerry Glanville...
|
I've go the game on in Connecticut on channel 6 FOX.
HOO WOO!!!! :food-smil |
I love to hate Collinsworth. Kind of like Howard Cossell, always saying something to piss someone off. He is very critical, but at least entertaining.
Buck and Aikman are terrible. Aikman looks and sounds like he is always tired or stoned. Buck is so stiff. He looks and sounds like he should be working the Republican Convention instead of NFL. |
I like that team. Collinsworth is fun to hate I agree. He does make some valid points at times though, but sometimes it seems he's just trying too hard to be controversial.
Buck is a solid play by play guy IMO, and even though he's an ex-cowboy I have to admit I like Aikman in the booth. |
I like these guys too, even Aikman, much as I disliked him before. 2 skins preseason games in Brooklyn! Another gift from Joe Gibbs. :thumb:
|
that's 2 national games for me in preseason too, and i'm an earshot from Dallas! go skins!
|
I actually really like Aikman in the booth too. He actually seems to be biased towards the Skins when he calls their games.....actually I think it is a NFC East thing. And for some reason, he seems to have a lot of respect for Lavar's talent! Hmmm... ;)
|
Aikman is probably one of the smartest color commentary guys in broadcast booths now. Funny thing is Darryl "Moose" Johnson is probably my 2nd favorite.

Heh... I was gonna mention him too, but I didn't wanna give to two ex-cowturds at once... :) |
yeah Aikman does sound like he's stoned. Buck is better when he does Baseball.
|
Collingsworth is a big Gibbs fan. You will love him even more.

|
I think I prefer Simms to Aikman as far as color commentary

I agree I hate watching games when I have to listen to him. |
yeah Aikman does sound like he's stoned.
you'd talk that way too after getting knocked out of your profession from a LaVar Leap :thumb: |
I think I prefer Simms to Aikman as far as color commentary
yeah simms and gumble r the best coverage team. Aikman, Collinsworth, and Buck each have their moments in my opinion but more often than not those moments don't come close to evening out with how much I dislike them. but buck does a heck of a job covering baseball games. but most of the coverage teams on fox suck and the only redemming factor their football coverage has is that they have the best pregame team in Brown, Bradshaw, Long, and Johnson plus the most important ingredient, Miss Jillian Barberie *drools* :thumb: |
Cool, didn't even realize I get to see it out here. Works for me!
|
it played at the bar i was at tonight, because i got up and manually changed the channel without asking, heh. And thats all that matters
