Can't say I'm in agreement with you here. Brady is one of the best ever to play and the NFL is better with him in it, even if he is kind of an ass. |

Not cool dude, not cool at all.. Regardless of how you feel about someone or a team, that's just zero class to applaud an injury. Seriously, get a life. |

A little humility goes a long way. Maybe an ACL-tear is just what the Dr. ordered? |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Still speculation at this point without the MRI.
The way his knee buckles is kinda of nasty. It looked really unnatural. |

Don't worry, I have enough hate for the both of us. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Jason Taylor's looked worse and he is fine.

Feel free to have class for the both of us. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Wow - he was untouchable last year. What a shock.

He did not die and he is an ass. A small smile came across my face too, I can't wait to here all my Pat's buddies crying. They have just been too good and lucky for too long. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Well I tore my acl and meniscus this summer during a practice game, and I wouldn't wish this injury on my worst enemy. I can tell it really is going to take a full year to be totally back. Every PT session after your surgery hurts worse than when you actually tore the ACL to begin with. You can hear the scar tissue popping as they forcefully bend your swollen knee past what feels possible and you think it is going to explode. So some of you should think about that before you wish an ACL injury on a man you have never met.
Having said that I am happy we won't have to hear about the Patriots all year. And when the Redskins get things going come playoff time, at least we won't have to deal with the Pats :food-smil |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
I still bet NE makes the playoffs.

I think the football gods have spoken.
Cheaters never win. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Do they have a backup?
I'll take the liberty of posting the fantasy suicide hotline for those impacted..... 1-800-Jum-pnow |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
We're about to see what Cassel can do... he was a four year backup to Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart (two Heisman winners) at SC and has been behind Brady for his entire pro career.

Re: Tom Brady out for the year
They should sign Culpepper. I'm sure he would unretire in a second if he got that job offer.

I think Culpepper is just unemployed, not retired. That is actually a really good idea though. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Hard to believe you'll who bash eagles fans for having no class, then you celebrate an athlete getting injured .
|
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
I think Daunte Culpepper might just throw to Randy Moss once again.

Re: Tom Brady out for the year
I guess I'm, a bit indifferent to this. It's the NFL, people get hurt. I don't believe this makes the Patriots any less a dangerous team. They just won't blow people out by 35 points now. Throwing the ball to a happy Randy Moss and a solid defense is all you need to win football games.

Re: Tom Brady out for the year
With Brady I think they were a 13-3 team, without him 10-6.
|
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
They just announced during the bears/colts game Chris Simms is coming in for a workout.

No way! A Patriot cheerleader is out for the season, too! I must've missed that. Hey, any word on QB's that are coming in for a workout? |

He retired last week. The Associated Press: Quarterback Daunte Culpepper retires from NFL |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
Cassell really hasn't looked good in any action, preseason or mop up. Gotta say they are looking more like 7-9 now. Bills and Jets looked good.
|
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
pats are done, brady will never be the same NOW the decline of the New England Dynasty.. boy I cant wait until they are knocked off their high horse, i hate patriot fans

Re: Tom Brady out for the year
he's not an ass, he's a dickhead

Gotta say, I am definitely not upset that he is out for the season, other than the 1 league I have him in. But I got him 1st pick of the 2nd round...how can you not take him in the 2nd round???? Oh well...my team is still strong without him. I've been giving my brother a hard time about Brady, saying he was on steroids (take a look at how his stats doubled, and how quickly he would argue with refs), this is just throwing fuel on the fire. |
Re: Tom Brady out for the year
I am super pissed over this Tom Brady thing. I didn't want to see this happen to him.................no no.....I wanted to see his leg snap in half.
