|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
what?
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
what??? man this is bullshit, I would have rather sat him for this game and used him for dallas.... WE need our best players when we are playing within our division.. this sucks bad,, I didnt see him get hurt?? what the hell happend?
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
wonderful...
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Zorn just said JT will be out next week and maybe longer. He also said Heyer could be out next week as well. That should improve our run game, but hurt our passing game.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
I don't know, he hasn't been a "beast" so far due to his injury. I'd rather he take the time to get better and we put someone in there who's a little more stout against the run. That's the "glass is half full" take anyway.

Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Mort on ESPN LIVE,just reported JT had a procedure on his shin. After being kicked in the Cards game. Will miss at least this week against the Cowgirls!

Did anyone else notice that on the first play when Jansen subbed in for Heyer on Sunday that he run blocked his man about 6 yards off of the line of scrimmage? It looked like getting benched really lit a fire under him. I hope it translates into a good/great performance against the cowboys. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Damin it that is killer. We need JT big time. His pressure is irreplaceable. Damin it all to hell.

I don't think it's as big of a loss as we think. Don't get me wrong, JT has done a great job for us thus far, but I have a lot of faith in D. Evans' ability to step in and play well. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
I could care less about his game streak! We need Evans and James to step up and play big for the team on the road for the next two BIG divisional games.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Whats the deal with our players getting kick and missing games.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Heyer might also miss the game. It's Rob Jackson's time.

SERIOUSLY!!! WTF!!! |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Does anyone know how well Erasamus is doing with his injury?
I know he is technically not injured...but is he in any shape to sub in for all passing situations? |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Shut the front Door!
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Out-freaking-standing. This shit ALWAYS happens when its Dallas week.

I'm surprised his "shin" problem is benching him.. :( |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
I'd say it's time for Chris Wilson to step up. Hopefully though Taylor will be back for Pittsburgh. Since we have a pretty easy 3 game strech (Rams, Browns, Lions) after Dallas and Philadelphia.

No, really? I know that, the article mentioned that in addition to Taylor missing the game that Heyer might miss it also. They will probably activate Jackson to play against Dallas. |

I would think erasmus james or chris wilson would get the start before rob jackson, and i dont think rob jackson will get any playing time yet, im sorry but thats just how i feel. He's not ready to go up against starting O lines, he will get blasted |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Evans will get the start.. Wilson, James and Jackson (in that order) will provide depth.

Chris Wilson is already active in the roster during game day, maybe James. I don't know what James conditioning status is like, maybe Jackson will get his first taste of action. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Why won't it just be Evans? He's good against both the run and the pass. He ain't no Jason Taylor, but I feel better against the run with him.

They have him missing one game you got him out until Nov. WHY??????? |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
I've got confidence in guys like Evans and Wilson to step in and get it done.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Demetric Evans will start.

Yes as much as this news sucks, I feel DE is one of our deepest posistions. Let Jason rest up and gear up for the rest of the season. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Chris Wilson is a beast watch him come up big next week.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
We've got to rotate Rob Jackson, Erasmus James and Chris Wilson. Dallas's O-line is big and lethargic. They can't handle speedy DE's. I think Rob Jackson gets a chance to shine. Our LB's will have to add the pressure we need. H.B. Blades should start in front of Marcus Washington who still doesn't look healthy. Jason Taylor did have several balls batted down but I think we'll be alright at DE.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Don't forget about Washington on 3rd downs. I'm sure they will put him back into that role considering the situation.
|
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
We could really use JT as a pass rusher to get at Romo--when that guy has time, it's tough to keep coverage. But it may help a bit with our run D, for what it's worth. Hopefully, the boys will all step up.
It's going to be very tough in Dallas. Thank god we got the 2 wins at home! What a difference that makes going into the toughest part of the schedule. The NFC east is celarly the toughest division in football, and the gints continue to win ugly. Be prepared to have some disappointment here--we're not an elite team yet! But we can beat the saints and cards at home, which we HAD to do. That's a good sign. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
Evans will get the start.. Wilson, James and Jackson (in that order) will provide depth.
That's a pretty decent line-up. Evans can play both and put Wilson in, in obvious passing downs. |

Mua ha ha because I'm secretly a Dallas fan. No but in all seriousness I'm just saying that it makes no sense to rush him and after this two week hell streach we have a nice 3 game strech against JV teams. My point being time is on our side in a strange way. I guess the best thing would be to have him play against Philly and then use him sparringly the next three weeks with the only real threat being Cleveland. Then again they don't seem to scary this year. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
I doubt he misses more than one game. JT is a fast healer obviously and can play through dings. A two week recovery from this type of thing seems like it should be enough for a guy like him. But what the hell I am not a doctor so what do I know? Put it this way. Knowing JT don't be surprised if he pushes to play this weekend. Not saying he shiuld be able to but he just doesn't seem like the type to miss if he can walk. Trainers might need to put the kibosh down on him.

I look forward to James, Wilson and Anthony to put pressure on the Cowboys and contribute to stopping the run better as a collective group than JT by himself. Have faith my friend, don't sell us short. |
Re: Jason Taylor's Game Streak Comes to an End
This could actually be a blessing in disguise. With the way Dallas is running the ball and how huge their O-line is I think JT would actually be a liability in this game.
