Moss is a Cowboy killer
IRVING — Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Brian Stewart needed no prompting.
Asked about the need to contain dangerous Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss on Sunday, he quickly responded: "He did a couple of drive-bys on us last year." Drive-bys? More... |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Lets hope that trend continues. We have many weapons on offense, but Moss will get his shots.
I look for another big day from Moss. |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
With Moss getting so much attention, as well he should, I could see Thomas possibly making an impact in this game. No better time to have a breakout game than now. The kid does have some speed.

Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
It will be interesting to see now that Dallas don't have guys like Nate Jones, Aaron Glenn, and I can't think of that other third string CB's name, playing against a great receiver like SM. I think it may also help that RW isn't playing either.
Moss will get his, but none of the over the top stuff. |

I think it is in Dallas' favor that Williams is out. He is overly aggressive and most of Moss' deep impact has come at his expense. I actually think ARE will get a TD of over 50 yds this week because of the attention on Moss and Cooley. |

I think both teams are going to have to pull out that "wildcard" player. For the Skins, I think it may be ARE. Before the injury reports, I kinda had my eyes on your rookie D. Thomas. A player like that is due for a breakout game soon or later. I think another "wildcard" player that has pretty good outings against Dallas is Cartwright. I hate that dude!
I think the player for Dallas that has to be that "wildcard" player is somebody like, Sam Hurd or Felix Jones. I want to say Miles Austin, but I think he may have gotten noticed from the Green Bay game. It's going to be a good, physical, emotional game. |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
I think that both of our teams still have a lot of talent hidden. This is the game that they had better step up. If we play like we've played the last two weeks, I think we match up pretty evenly. I might come down to which team makes the most mistakes on offense. I don't think we'll see that many "big plays" from either offense.

Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Ooops he did it again
LOL |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer

Did Thomas have any catches? I don't think I even saw him near the ball? |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
I think the Cowboys thought they were going to walk all over the Reskins tonight. They were starting to believe their own hype- never good to do.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!! Sean Taylor is smiling down on his team tonight! |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
I do not think Thomas had any catches tonight.
What is the status of Malcom Kelly? |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
On NBC they just ran a Terrence Newman low-light show. That double move by Moss just left him tangled in his own jock.
Moss is a cowboy killa. What a badass. |

Thomas was a decoy! He had a nice block on the onside kick too! |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
So that was the game plan? only use him as a decoy? I am not fussing cuz we won. I just didn't remember hearing his name.
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Man, Moss went Boyz n the Hood on them.
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Moss is having a pro bowl season so far.
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
He easily could have had two long tds, but JC was under too much pressure and ended up underthrowing him. Great game. Absolutely schooled Newman and outdid TO in his own house.
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Moss kills more Cowboys than Marlboro
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
If you have the last name moss Your Team is that much better.
Quote me on that shit! |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
I love me some Moss, and ALWAYS have. He is a ture probowler, hands down. :)
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer

8 Catches 145 yards, set up all our scores basically. Not much of a decoy |

I wish his TD streak hadn't ended, but wasn't it great seeing "pro-bowler" Terrance Newman get used by Santana and pretty much anyone else on the Skins who knows how to catch? And then hearing the media rip him with "Hello Newman" "Goodbye Newman" comments was hilarious. I'm so happy! |

I believe he was talking about Devin Thomas. |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Was calling him cowboy killer all game and then logged on here to see this thread. he is doing unbelievable, but it's true he was underthrown and could have had 2 easy td's but I will take big receptions for yardage any day. PLLLease keep this pace up fellas and we will reclaim the NFC East
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Yes I was talking about Devin Thomas, probably off topic here. Great game for Moss!!!
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
What do Santana Moss, Jim Zorn and Jerry Jones have in common?
They all own the Cowboys. |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
Anyone know what Moss ran in the 40 coming out of Miami?
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
god i was petrified when dallas tried that onside kick. They are so freaking lucky with onside kicks (remember last year)We smashed em in the mouth gotta love it!!
|
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
moss has steped his dedication and intensity up. my biggest knock on him was that i think he gave up on gibbs and his style of coaching. he didnt believe gibbs was giving them the best chance to win and in turn, he didnt dedicate himself 110%.
in this system hes said the wrs get targeted alot and this has def sparked his play. go skins!!! welcome back santana!! |

He was hurt and not at 100% AND JC was struggling to get the ball to anyone deep. Moss is our deep threat, and he's BACK!!! :) |
Re: Moss is a Cowboy killer
thats exactly why i think moss didnt give 110% in '06, '07. he was hurt, didnt believe in the play calling (gibbs) and was not part of the game plan week in week out = we dont get the moss we are seeing this year.
one thing we cant argue about is that moss seems to be in his '05 form; the reasons he has stepped up this year are debatable. go skins!! |
