Seattles loss is Washingtons gain. :goodjob: Snyder!

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Nice read, I bet by the end of the year they'll miss him even more ;)
Kind of off topic but for some reason I got reminded of this. Jim Zorn to the Redskins: Probably the worst NFL hire of all-time | Talking Points I can't wait until the end of the season when we can all let him have it, for his horrible "expert" prediction. |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
gotta wonder how full this morons in box is now
|
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Sucks to be a Seahawk I guess.
Worst hire of all time? Nobody cared that Zorn left Seattle initially? I don't mind. I'm keeping medium |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Tim Kawakami almost got his ass kicked in Oakland by that Raiders employee a few weeks ago. He's clearly a pompous little prick who knows how to push buttons, and obviously not very smart.

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Yeah, Zorn leaves and Seattle collapses. A lot of folks dis Mr Snyder, but at least he does his best to get a winner here. Thank God I am a native Marylander in the Detroit area and have my Skins to cheer for. THe Fords are terrible owners, they don't have a clue as to what is needed to bring a winner to Detroit. Even when the Skins have been at their lowest at 5-11, they still are a way better team than the sorry ass Lions. Zorn was a great hire and will likely be the man here(DC) for awhile.

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Haha...buddy at work said the only thing Zorn was good for was catching and tossing the ball back to Hasselbeck in practice.
|
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
The Zorn hire was a Great move for our organization (Great hire Danny)! I don't think Seattle will miss Holmgren at the end of there miserable season, and the end of his tenure there.

You don't know whatcha got til it's gone.
What a sad bunch. |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
why would he go there when he has a possibly sustainable winner here (need a new CB/MLB/some OL pretty soon)?
money won't be an issue. |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
I am confident (as I am sure the fans are as well) that Jim Mora will do a quality job, and take up the slack for the "ball tosser"
|
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
HA! I just scrolled down the comments on the article about JZ being the worst hire ever to see if there was anything new.
Funniest thing was a comment from "Jimmy Z" saying how he just got coach of the week lol. Someone has a sense of humor. If this guy keeps winning Ill vote to change the damn colors to maroon and black. ... and yellow :) |
I talked to Zorn when he was first getting into coaching on the Seahawks staff and I can tell you that, if first impressions mean anything–and they do–I walked away from that interview thinking, This guy shouldn’t be anywhere near an NFL sideline.
This one too.
(Yes, I believe he’s the only NFL coach ever with a last name starting with “Z.” So Zorn will be last all-time in both alphabetical and career winning percentage listings.)
|
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
i,m glad we have him now and i,m sure they are missing him a great deal at the moment.
it,s a plus for us and it is showing too. |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Seattle is also missing every WR (Engram and Branch are just now getting on the field this season), they're missing a capable RB (Julius Jones sucks) and they're banged up in every position, including QB with Hasselbeck who missed practice this week.
If they ever get healthy, they'll still be weaker than when Zorn was there, but they're not really AS bad as they look right now. With that said, I can't stand Seattle and it is good to see them losers in every sport. They even lost their basketball team. :D |

The Seahawks are a talented team as we saw last year when you have lots of injuries especially at a key position, the team will struggle. I'm pretty sure that Hasselbeck also misses Zorn quite a bit and he's not familiar with Lazor just yet. |

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
I think you will see a lot of teams hiring former NFL qbs at head coach. As far as I know, the Skins and the Texans are the only two teams this season. Look through your 1980 football card collection to see who will be coaching next years teams.

I miss Zorn

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
I really like this quote "Zorn is the worst: Least prepared, worst communicator, most obvious risk for total failure, right from Day 1."
Oh boy... |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
In case anyone wants to contact Mr. Kawakami, here is his email address: tkawakami@mercurynews.com
Be sure to post replies. (Don't worry about it being rude. ;)) |
Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
Thanks to Tim I have a new sig line. :)

Seattle missing Zorn? Good! Maybe we can finally get the monkey off our back.

Re: Seattle Is Missing Zorn
That is easy to say in hindsight but before these last 4 weeks no one saw Zorn as a head coach other then the skins. In fact Seattle would not even promise him the OC position under Mora to keep him.
You're welcome to join us and become a Redskin fan!
I have been a Seahawks fan for 20 years I am not abandoned my team.
Edit I should point out that the redskins are my second favorite team |
