Re: Tony romo says
Tony Romo? Lol. This shot reminds me of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin during the Katie Couric interview.
POEHLER AS COURIC: “Forgive me, Mr. Romo, but it seems to me that when cornered, you become increasingly adorable. Is that fair to say?” Romo: “I don’t know is it? (high pitched gun sounds)” Hulu - Saturday Night Live: Couric / Palin Open (Fast forward to 6:20) |
Re: Tony romo says
For a team that has never won a significant game these guys sure talk a lot. Let's see them back it up on the field. They haven't so far this year.
And take control of the NFC East? Aren't they like 3 1/2 games back? LMFAO. |

IF we were healty we would kick their asses, but we are hobbling and they are healthy. Not too sure how this is going to get the rest of our WR corp going either. They have been rather silent thus far. Starting to think that Randle El was a bust or more accurately, way overpaid. At least when Snyder overpaid Bruce Smith, we did get some decent production half the time, or at least he was in the mix. El was supposed to open it up for us and he hasn't. Might be time to ditch him when his contract expires unless he steps it up. |

Ditto. |
Re: Tony romo says
When did romo say this? Do you have a video?
|
Re: Tony romo says
I just saw the interview on NFL.com, and he didn't say nothing in there. But they (TR, TO) did say that they feel the guys are better now, than the first time we played so they should get a win. They are Gay.

Re: Tony romo says
ha i dont if he said that but i would love to see them in no huddle in front of 90000. only will lead to penalties or jason taylor timing up snap counts all day long, and romo wont need a huddle after a few hits because he will be crying about another girly injury. seriously romo after missing games, after telling goose that you could play if it were the playoffs during the first one you missed, you shouldnt be so bold pal......and jason garrett i hope thats your game plan, that will be two coaches jobs you have taken with your ignorant offense and play calling......mix in a run this game bro so we can kick barbers ass again, 14 yards in two starts against us...........marion the barb.....that will work pansy.

I'm curious as to how you feel about the Portis/Bailey trade? Let's debate it in this thread. |
Re: Tony romo says
Portis/Bailey trade was a good move as it panned out. At the time of the actual trade I was concerned that Portis was just another product of the Denver system and might be a flop, but after 2 seasons our FO came off like geniuses. Only thing about Champ going was we did have a great twosome with him and Smooty. Back then those guys could catch an interception. Hell, Stanley Richards and Jesse Campbell got more picks than our present bunch!!!!!
What exactly are you talking about?
Talking about how even though Romo is talking trash, the Cowboys are a healthier team by far right now and have their backs against the wall. Unless we can get production from Randle El and the other WRs other than Moss since he might not play, we will probably lose. I am basically calling out Randle El to earn his pay, along with the other Wrs on our team. Their stats are rather weak. |

Healthier now? It was Week 4! As for calling out Randle El, he's on pace to shatter his career high in receptions, Campbell is the 7th ranked qb in the league, and we have yet to see Chris Cooley really be a force in the passing game yet this season. Are you a Vikings fan? |

I know I looked through the nfl/espn sites and Dallas Morning News, and couldnt find anything on the no-huddle up tempo comments. Also, G1 has been a class guy on here, giving the Skins their due when they win. No need to bash him. |

Here is an article with what Tony and TO were saying:

No argument on that. But when you buy a cheeseburger from McDonalds, can you really go home and be mad that it doesn't have lettuce and tomatoes on it? You saw the pic, its just a cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup, and those rehydrated onions. ARE is just a cheeseburger, don't a double cheeseburger, but just a cheeseburger. You want the works, go buy a Whopper Jr. |

I alway laugh when I see someone post something like this on the internet. (I would have said it to his face if I had the chance) So if he is 6'5" at 280 you would say that to his face? I wouldn't. LOL Just chill and don't take stuff personaly. |

I agree about your point regarding punt returns, in that respect he's been a disappointment. But as a WR I disagree. He's been pretty solid for us the last 2 years. He's on pace for career highs in catches (64) and yards (766) this year and he's quietly been pretty clutch when we've needed a 3rd down catch. |

A "link" is not always available as many things that occur during the course of a radio, or tv show happen spontaneously, and without any other documentation at that time. If that prevents you from endorsing it's content.......consider the source, and dismiss it if you feel the link is critical. I frequently post items that have no link as they are happening on Skins radio.......somewhere, and usually is.......opinion. HTTR |

Maybe the thread should have started out by saying On Espn...Or on the NFL Network... Just sounds like we're making up a story about Romo talking s***. |
Re: Tony romo says
I hope Greg Blanche finds the link thats all that matters.
As for our WR core and whether they are good enough, I think it more on the tunnel vision of Jason Campbel (I think I spelled that wrong) than anything else. If I am a D-coordinator I focusing all my attention on Moss, Cooley, and Portis because I know that JC will force it to them and no one else. The only time he throws to other players on the field is when its designed play for that reciever. The portis trade was better for us because we just signed Springs and he worked out fine... Now we have Springs, Hall, Rodgers and Smoot while denver still can't find a RB as good as Portis. |

they tried that earlier and it didnt work.

denver is having one hell of a time finding a running back this season period. they just resigned former detroit lions bellhop/running back tatum bell a 2nd time. |
Re: Tony romo says
no need to get all worked up it,s only dallas....they are a bunch of talkers anyways..
just be another sunday night grudge match between 2 good ole rivals.. hey romo hows the pinkie i guess we,ll find out sunday night want we.. |
Re: Tony romo says
he dont want to say it but his pinkie id about 65% but he feels as they have no other choice but to risk it. and now with to bitching about running routes and getting open but not getting the ball this couod turn out to be pretty funny
let romo go no huddle and try to air it out. he will leave the game with more than a hurt pinkie |
