Cold and rainy in the DC area today. It will be interesting to see how the wet conditions affect play. I know it's usually tougher on defenses because a wet field makes backpedaling much more difficult...

Some of you may or may not care, but some wondering what would happen to Moss after hitting the Seatle player........

[B]NEW YORK (TICKER) —The NFL on Friday fined Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss for his open-handed slap to Seattle Seahawks cornerback Josh Wilson’s helmet during last Sunday’s game.

The league fined Moss $5,000 for his actions. The 29-year-old wideout drew a 15-yard penalty on the play.

Moss has 53 catches for 773 yards and five touchdowns for the Redskins (7-4), who will face the the New York Giants (10-1) on Sunday.

they just said when they take the tarp off the field Carter and Fletcher are going to test their injuries, but expect Fletcher to be in the starting lineup

Carter has all of his lower body pads on and just a T-shirt up top, and just headed back to the locker room.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Seriously. Springs is so good when healthy, but he's a cupcake when it comes to injury. He's been that way his entire career.

i hope we see some production from campbell. hes not making mistakes, but hes not producing like a starter in the NFL should. i know ill catch some flack for this but he looks like a solid back up to this point.

Yeah we should let Springs play their number two guy. Hall has speed and with the help we have on our defense, I think he can be effective

Does that mean Springs will be playing safety maybe? I wouldn't mind seeing some Cobra packages with Springs, Landry, and Horton.

We may use some Cobra today, but not as our starting lineup. Our starting D is always listed as the traditional 4-3-4 set up. 2 DEs, 2 DTs, 3 LBs, 2 CBs, 2 Safeties.

I'd love to hear more about this Hall over Springs thing. This is the first time in 5 years I'm stuck working on a Sunday and will miss the game. F*CK. I'm TiVo-ing it and will follow online.

I have heard springs say he's more comfortable on the bigger receivers as opposed to smaller, speedier types. maybe he's not comfortable covering Plax's backup (hixon?)

You're right, Charlie. You're going to catch some flack for this. Espcially since you can't name four quarterbacks in the NCF not named Drew Brees or Kurt Warner you'd rather have starting for you club right now.

Okay, more production doesn't mean he sucks and needs to ride the pine. The guy has thrown less picks than any starting quarterback and has more passing yards than a whole lot and you want to bench him?
