Let's face it, back scratching and politics go hand-in-hand but this idiot takes it to another level...unfortunately for him it's to a criminal level. I mean, you're under investigation for crying out loud so why would you openly talk about getting something in return for appointing someone to the Senate? I guess he didn't take Crookedness 101 and Movies 101.

Funny how when they mention Obama in the photo and a comment by Dick Durbin they put that D right after their name but it seem to be missing after Blagojevich name through out the entire article. I have noticed this with all the major media but if its a Repubilcan it is in the first sentence if it doe not start with the word Repubilcan

Well please explain why the D is behind the other Dem's names not involved or that no where does it say he is a dem?

Rod O is the new poster boy for the Demo party. Don't think for one second that Obama is any different having cut his teeth in Illinois politics.

Here is something just as criminal. Rod Blagojevich flew to Springfield from Chicago every day at a cost of $8000 a day, but yet had the audacity to shut down some of the the state parks & recreation areas because there wasn't enough money to maintain them.

I've said this before First, but media bias - while perhaps true - is an issue you don't understand. Not even a little bit. When people talk about media bias they are not talking about little d's and r's.

Oh yeah there is definite bias, but it does have little to do with Democrats. I took several classes on that exact question. Mass Media and American Politics, great stuff and dispels a lot of this BS.

I'm surprised that it took them this long to catch him.

Blagojevich is probably one of the worst governors Illinois has ever had, and he's been corrupt since he was a wee lad. Should never have been elected.

I made a comment about two months before the election that I don't believe George Bush is the worst president I'll have in my lifetime, in fact, I'm quite certain he wouldn't be. This, in part, was fueled by the fact that people like Blagojevich can actually be elected to office. God speed judicial system. Lock him up for a long time.

I was a mass media major so I'm sure we've studied a lot of the same stuff. It's a deep and fascinating issue and it's a shame to see it discussed so often in such primitive terms.

So you took your little liberal bias class with some liberal professor to explain how it is not bias. OK. Please now explain what I pointed out as you seem to skip that subject. Now one of Obama's top advisers just two weeks ago said that he "obama" had talk with Blagojevich about filling that seat but now Obama says he had no conmunication with Blagojevich. So now some one can not be telling the truth.
