Skinny Tee here with a shameless video of me proposing to my girlfriend/new fiancee. It's a surprise proposal inside of a musuem. I was stressed out for two weeks trying to make the deadline by this past Saturday but it turned out awesome which is why I'm proud to show it.

I can't watch the video at work, but I know where you're coming from. I got engaged last December and it was nerve wracking. I couldn't decide on when and where to do it. Props to you for recording it.

Is this really you or some other dude? And I didn't hear her say yes. Congrats if it's you. All in all A for effort and B for execution. He/you lose some points for all the laughing...it looks like he/you are entertaining yourself rather than proposing.

Yeah, that's me. I just proposed this past Saturday inside of the museum. I emailed the director beforehand and he said that he could accomadate that.

I suppose the laughing does come off like that but please consider that I put 2 weeks stressing about making sure everything goes as planned. She is laughing too though, also we play Balderdash a lot and there is a competitive glee when you're successful at tricking someone.

Of course!...Since I was stressed about the deadline I might not have been paying much attention to the Sanchez rumors before the draft but I had full attention when they picked at 13.

LOL....Thanks man. The Railway Depot they're under in this picture is right in front of the Manassas Museum :)

I really wish that Manassas, the band, had at least one hit. I live here and I couldn't tell you a cool song that they sung.

This was a double album of folk/country/California rock that was heavy with Afro-Cuban rythms and extended jams. It's well respected among musical types but has no radio-friendly hits on it. The second "Manassas" album is considered to be a failure and is virtually impossible to find.

Thje train depot makes it's second vet-rock cameo here: (You may recognize other scenes as well). The tennis courts are the old ones from Osbourn High School before they rebuilt most of it. The "3rd Base Restaurant" is now "Okra's" at the corner of Center? and Battle.

Next thing I know you'll be posting a picture of a grassy area near Manassas Park that has a chalk outline of severed male member. :)

Winwood is kind of dissing Manassas in the song too because he's saying that he is in the low-life when he's around the Manassas sites. He's a long way aways from any kind of "High-Life" now...that's what you get for ragging on Manassas Winwood!

+1 on the good looking wife part; I had to double take on it at first because the girl looked almost exactly like a girl that I dated in Manassas, but your woman looks a lil taller and has a different name

how old are you guys and what schools did you go to if you don't mind me asking? I went to HS down in southern VA so I wouldn't know you, just curious

I'll pass that along to her she'll be flattered. I'm 29 and she is 24. I went to the esteemed Osbourn City, not Park, and she went to a private high school.

We've been dating for 5 years so this proposal was past due. She knew I was going to propose but I was taking so long that she didn't know when it happen.

Wow buddy I'm very impressed with your style and technique for poping the question.

My sister in-law lives in Manassas, and it is very beautiful up there. However, could you please tell the local planners that you guys already have plenty of strip-malls. Those things are ruining Manassas's picturesque beauty, and rich history.

Actually we're pretty quiet people. This is definitely the loudest and public thing that I've done. Our wedding won't have more than 60-80 people in it.
