Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Madden Ratings - ESPN
This is for all of you Madden players out there, and I think we are a pretty decent team this year IMO. |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Wonder boy Colt only a 49 huh?
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Pretty fair rankings I think. I like the way they did them this year. Not everyone is a superstar.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Clearly they haven't been over to ES, or else Colt would be a 99.
Woooah, Sellers a 89? and Orakpo is listed as a LB, interesting. Wonder how his ratings will transition to DE, and if there will be any automatic method of him swapping positions on 3rd down. |

Yet, Matt Stafford is a 79 and rated above Culpepper (72), who has a couple of league MVP's under his belt. Apparently, experience doesn't mean jack in Madden |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
I guess Sellers coming off his 1st Pro Bowl finally got him some love.
Suisham a 52? Yeah he's nothing great but damn, there's gotta be worse than him. |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
I think Colt should be in the 60's to be honest and that takes into account the new ratings curve, or lack there of. Fletcher at an 89 is a sin.
Other thoughts: - Dockery should be higher then Jansen. In fact Dockery should be an 83 - Randy Thomas maybe should be a little lower but I wouldn't be surprised if he had a great year this year thanks to his offseason surgery - Blades should be in the 60's - Golston should be in the low 70's and and Carter should be a little lower then his 84 rating - Horton at 70 also counts as a sin. He should at least be a 75 though 80 is more likely what he should be rated. |

Check out last year's stats...he was dead last in FG Percentage. |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Prater was 1 % point better, I just wonder what he's ranked.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Campbell's accuracy a 77, Collins and Colt 84.....c'mon.
|

Yeah I noticed they were missing teams, including 2 of the other 3 low FG% kickers...I'd imagine he might be the same or slightly lower than Suisham considering Prater is going into his 2nd season. |

How is Stafford a 79 and JC is a 77 but Stafford has never taken a snap in the NFL |

Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
i dont agree with alot of th rankings, i honestly think where it counts we're getting jipped as hell.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
6 or 7 point drop-off for Fletcher after a monster season?
|

ya thats way to good for jason |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
I like it when teams take cap hits to release players who are among the team's top ten highly rated offensive players in Madden.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
How is Marcus Hagans better than Malcom Kelly?
Stephon Heyer is better than Jansen, yet they made Jansen an 83 and Heyer a 67. H.B. Blades only a 58? Are you kidding me? And why are Fincher and Thomas better than him? |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
LMAO, does anyone realize that Albright isn't the lowest rated player anymore?
|

Yeah, now Colt Brennan is. |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
I think someone at Madden has a sense of humor and knew the Colt fanboys would be all up in arms over his rating.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
His accuracy is still better than JC's...I can live with that.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
The ratings are far from perfect as usual. But that's where the updates come in to play.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
yeah i (hopefully) like the new raking system too. after a couple seasons in franchise mode in madden '09 the avg rank for players by position (on any team) is in the 90s overall. JC with his 92 ovr is below avg for a starting qb.
the players (before the ranking change) just develop too fast and after 5-6 seasons the ovr rankings get ridiculous. go skins! |

It doesn't matter because I can beat you with Ethan Albright, but I cannot get anyone to break the 90's barrier at the skilled positions no matter how many pro bowls they go to. |

Holy crap that's low. He's not THAT bad. At least Ethan Albright ranked higher than him, or all hell would break loose again. Suisham ranked higher than Colt, that's embarrassing. The 40 for awareness killed him. :D |

well if your winning and guys are going to the probowl they should (atleast for my team). carlos is a 98 ovr, montgomery is an astounding 96 or something like that, cooley is in the mid 90s, mcintosh is in the high 90s, freakin rinehart is a 96!! this doesnt even include the computer generated rookies ive drafted over the years. i have 2 DE with 98 and 97 respectively now after a few years, a DT whose in the 90s, a running back in his mid 90s not named portis (who has dropped to an 86 with age). im on the wii madden so maybe there is a difference but i do know that i lost interest and stopped playing when i had 90 ovr guys as backups. i checked to see the league avg and was astounded to find my team individual players (which are through the roof) are on par with every team in the league. go skins!! ps - after 2 seasons on the lower skill level i played on the all pro level, .500 for a year then 16-0 again. |

You're talking about Madden 09, right? |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Random Points
Deangelo Hall has 78 catch, that's better than Devin Thomas or Malcolm Kelly. Definitely throwing him in at WR with that 97 speed. Brennan isn't the worst, Cody Glenn is, his awareness is ridiculous, if you put him in he'd probably tackle his own teammates Smoot has lower strength than Suisham and Hunter the punter ... haha Smoot Albright-one year removed from pro bowl = 65 P Daniels power lifter ... strength = 86 |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Cody Glenn has an awareness of 34. Does that mean that he'll be picking his nose, staring at the cheerleaders when he's supposed to be making a play or lining up on the wrong side of the ball with the opposing team?

Yes. |
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
Damn apparantly I haven't played Madden in a while. The last one I bought was '08 for PS2 so I'm a little bit rusty. I didn't expect that much of a ratings change from the PS2 to the new gen systems though. I'm def. buying this year since I finally got around to buying a PS3 but I'm not even sure if I should. Since I mostly play in franchise mode I'm not that excited about buying a game where the progression and ratings are really screwed up.
|
Re: Redskins Madden 2010 Player Ratings
I guess if ARE can be a 90 then anything can happen.
Colt at 49 is just stupid. he is at least in the 60's IMO Fletcher got robbed, should have been mid 90's |
