Ladell Bettis?????????
 

Wow tonight during our AWFUL offensive performance:( I noticed that Betts jersey said Bettis lol wow that show's how important Ladell is to our team.. What i noticed tonight is that our Offense won't be much better if our depth at RB continues to stink!! Betts is not a quality #2 anymore so if CP goes down we are screwed.. JC didnt show alot and our OLINE looked ok.. D looked good for a while Haynesworth dosen't need to play alot anyways... I just hope we can score 20pts a game this season and I don't know that we will.

Not to nitpick but how can you criticize the o-line and then criticize the runningback? If the o-line is dysfunctional Walter Payton will look average. (I remember him looking pretty average two years in a row at Soldier field!!!)

Didn't Mason have 5 carries for 7 yards at one point?

I don't think the runningbacks are the problem right now.

An extra "I" on Betts uniform was the least of our problems tonight.

Perhaps we should have put a few more "OL"s in jerseys for this game.

I thought our OL's held their own against a top defense. Campbell had time, so did Collins. The performance was not good, but the OL actually seemed to hold up in pass pro. (PS the one hit on Campbell, came when Betts was supposed to block him off, and Betts whiffed. Portis would not have.

Was it Betts or Cooley? The announcers said Cooley missed a block to the [B]inside[/B] which shouldn't happen to a TE. On one play (same play?) they said Betts got one guy but couldn't get them both.

Yeah I thought they said it was Cooley too, but I haven't seen it for myself yet.

That is probably right, but watching the play develop, I thought Betts should have covered JC's back, so maybe I missed Cooley's miss.

betts actually made a nice play by getting over to block one of the rushers it was cooley's guy that got campbell. he beat cooley right from the snap.

I apologize to Joey T for the name spelling, but he used to pronounce his name "Theesman" until he became a big time Notre Dame pro prospect, then he changed the pronunciation of his name to "thiesman" to rhyme with Heisman. That's when he went Hollywood. Oh well, he was the QB I grew up rooting for, crying as a child after every loss.

Yes Betts actually did something right. He can't block two people at one time. However his running sucked. I hope next weeks game is different.
