They have been classy in the past. They have the ability to be now, I'm sure somewhere in the U.S. there's some sort of racial discrimination going on that's ACTUALLY worth marching for or at least worth extending a helping hand towards. This on the other hand, is incredibly embarrassing. Helping a guilty dude out just because he's black and getting crapped on (well deserved crap at that) seems just a teensy weensy bit moronic.

Oh for God's sake. What's next, Sharpton and Jackson coming to his defense? The guy served his time, and got his second chance (and a multi-million dollar contract). Why march on his behalf? What more do you want for him?

Vick has become a polarizing figure. Yeah, so he happens to be black. So what? There are always going to people who hate the guy for what he did to those dogs, not because of his skin color. Why does the NAACP have to stick their nose in this?

NAACP isn't one homogeneous organization. Each region/city has it's own NAACP chapter. Unfortunately some chapters are staffed by retards.

The same can be said about Sigma Alpha Epsilon, but on every campus I've been to they wear their pink shirt collars up and have flight glasses on.

The funny part is if I read that right PITA does not even plan on attending. If they do just for the fun of it I'll go fishing out side of there home ofice in Norfolk on the Elizabeth river with a sign saying fishing for Vick.

Seriously though this is really stupid. One organization really needs to tone down it's efforts while the other doesn't really have much reason to exist anymore. I don't have a single black or latino friend that thinks the NAACP needs to be around anymore. I mean maybe if they just stayed around as an organization to preserve history from the civil rights movement and in the meantime raised money for charity however their main spiel seems to be more about telling everybody how racist they are and in the meantime raising money by suing people. In fact they're considered one of the worst non-profits in the country

I equate the NAACP to modern day militia's in the US. Sure they were useful during the Revolutionary War but now they're borderline crazy.

During the Eagles pre-game they interviewed the head of that NAACP chapter outside the stadium while he was "marching for Vick." Seriously my shoe is probably smarter than this fool. Publicity stunt. Nothing more.

On the one hand, this should be totally ignored and paid no attention to. On the other hand, it'd be great if Vick himself said "You know what, I am getting a second chance. A chance that not many people would get...so I don't need this chapter of the NAACP or anyone else standing up for me when I'm already getting what they're demanding I get."
