My perceived definition of what class is: Act like you belong to a wealthier class than you're net worth dictates.


My net worth is not that of a affluent New York socialite so I wouldn't be offended if anyone calls me classless. Being cussed at by an NFL player hardly tops the classless list. I also wouldn't be too worried about class if Tanner Cooley is the arbitrator of it.

The guy is in the locker room where business like that is not conducted.

If it's the Make A Wish guy pick a better venue to conduct business than a Mens' Locker Room right after a game.

Yea I guess, but R.Moss has always been a douche even in college thats why he fell so far in the draft. When he walked off the field at Fed-Ex. How he has just quits when things dont go right. Now Moss was rude from the get go.

The frequency in which people are trying to get Moss's attention and my attention differ drastically.

If I had a solicitor ring my doorbell for the 53rd time in one day I would have the same reaction as Moss.

I don't think that it's just a Randy Moss/Ben Watson thing. Belichik sets the example for how the entire organization deals with the media. On a good day, you get mostly one word answers, and maybe even a stray sentence if he really wants to elaborate. After leaving NE, I remember Charley Weis being an arrogant prick before Notre Dame's season opener when he wouldn't answer the media's questions about who was to start at QB. I was happy to see the Irish suck out loud that entire season. To be honest, I was glad to see our rival NY Giants humble Brady and Belichik in the Super Bowl 2 seasons back.

Tanner Cooley is doing the best job ever of riding his brothers jock, the kid clearly needs a real job. Why would you(as a player) do an interview to put up on an opposing players goofy website. Its not like anything written on CC blog should be taken seriously. Its funny as hell, especially for us skins fans, but to an opposing team/fan, probably not so much.

I couldn't care less whether Moss gives an interview with Little Cooley or not. My feelings toward Moss and the Patriots were set way before this. Even if he gave him the interview I would say f**k Moss and f**k the Patsies. Tee wanted someone to quantify classy so I mentioned JC. I would hardly call my dislike for these people a tantrum anymore than your dislike for "Jeruh" would be considered a tantrum sparky.

See this is where things get screwed up. When someone misquotes someone or makes broad statements that aren't necessarily true. 1-I didn't cuss him in my first post. First off, I'm not suprised that Randy Moss is an asshole. I dont think anyone should be shocked by that.

I've been on the receving end of some of these types of things from athletes as well when I covered sports for a radio station, and I specifically remember one (current not at the time) New York Yankees pitcher absolutley flipping a shit on me for trying to get an interview and being to close to his locker. Its a big reason why I got out of that business, because I like sports too much to have crap like that take the love of it away from me. (I will say this though, any Redskin I've ever come in contact with for the most part has been awesome). Moss should have just said he didnt do interviews or something, theres no need to be a dick about it.....

At the same time though, I dont think Cooleys blog should be a place to call out other NFL players. I dont care if its coming from Cooley or not, just let it go. When he wants to have fun with Romo and Witten becuase they're friends or whatever, thats fine with me and I think its halarious. However, questioning someones character, even if it is true, I dont really think I like. He called out Ben Watson too, who basically just declined the interview from the sounds of it.

I understand that I said some bold things in the post about Moss. I will get to that, but first things first. Chris's website has garnered enough attention that the Redskins have issued me a media pass to cover the games and practices for his site. If some of you don't like that I don't know what to tell you. The site is what it is and we have fun doing it.

Now, about the post. It was never my intentions to make another player look bad or raise any negative thoughts about the Patriot players. I was going into the locker room, which was open to all media, to interview Tom Brady. His availability was canceled after the injury. So, being that I was already in there, I decided to try and talk to other players. Randy Moss, after catching 2 td's and having a great game, immediately came to mind.

When he saw me he could have very easily said "sorry man, I'm not doing press right now." But instead, he rudely asked what I wanted then told me it didn't mean shit to him. That was the reason for my post. As I said in my post, I was a ZILCH in their locker room, but there was no need for him to act like that. I don't feel like he owed me an interview or that he should even give me the time of day. But I have seen professional locker rooms. They are generally filled with members of the media. He knows the difference between being an ass and brushing someone off.

In the future, for all you that call me out about not working and riding coat tails, I read it all. I am a college graduate and I work very hard at what I do. In less than a year I will be in medical school and you haters can celebrate when I'm gone from the site. Until then, if you don't like what we write, you don't have to bitch about it here.
