New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
We have a new poll here at DC Pro Sports Report. At the upper left hand corner of this page you will find a poll asking you to predict the outcome of this Sunday's Redskins-Rams game. Will the Redskins even their record at 1-1 or fall again to a pitiful Rams team? And what will be the score?

Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins by 10+. We need it, we get it. Adjustments are made, mistakes are eliminated. HTTR!

now or never

Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins win by 20 points thanks to the defense!!
|
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins 35 (That's right the Redskins will score over 30 points!!!)
Rams 9 |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Any luck at all the Giants score big over the Cowboys proving that Skins are a better team simply by holding the Giants in check and keeping the game close.
Next would be for the Saints to tear up the Eagles. Then if we win we all are 1-1 and only the Giants being 1 game ahead. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Going to say 31-14. Zorny opens it up.

Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
As much as i WANT them to win, I believe poor coaching and poor playing call will be our demise to yet another lost.

Why don't you just stop following the team until they get a new head coach? I mean you obviously have nothing positive to say about the team (I read all of your posts) and Zorn is not going away anytime soon...so I mean just save yourself some hassle. |

I feel the coaching, playcalling and execution will all be better this week. There is usually an improvement from game 1 to 2. The Rams need a lot more improving than we do. |

Heck, this whole time I've been a member I thought this board was for everyone, now I find out it's for positive people only. I don't think there would be much of a discussion if everyone were positive and had the same view points. All you would get would be is a lot of "yeah", "right", "totally." |

No one wants only yes men, but neither does it serve much to focus and express pure negative :vomit: every chance you get. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins -23
Rams - 13 |

No intention to make you look bad Ruh. I know exactly how you feel. :) |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
17 to 10 skins win. The Skins always play down to their competition.

I'm finally starting to feel stoked about another game after being majorly dissappointed. I can actually see the Skins blowing this one out but your statement is exactly what I'm afraid of....we seem to play down to our competition. |

Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins play much better on offense vs a weak Rams D ... Rams score a late TD to make it closer then it should have been.
Rams 20 Redskins 27 |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Skins 27
Rams 12 We dominate in the ground game and mid-range passing game, defense bends a few times but never breaks. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Skins 42
lambs 12 HTTR. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Redskins - 20
Rams - 3 I think our running game is going to blow up this game and Portis is going to have a huge game. I see Campbell playing solid, but nothing spectacular as Jim Zorns style offense "playing to not lose" will win this game because the Rams are that bad. |

Skins win by a moderate margin, and stay below 27 points. This week will instill a fire into our guys to step it up and start playing UP to their talent. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Damn I hope we look strong , like a well oiled machine ,,,,,,,,,, maybe 27-13 ...... we need to win big !
|
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
34-3 Redskins. I believe the Skins will put it all together (at least for this game) and completely dismantle the Rams. Zorn says there's no revenge factor but the players will DEFINITELY want to put a beat down on these guys after last years game. Portis will get his but Campbell will really shine this week.
HAIL!! |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game

For me I did not take it as a smart ass way. May be at times I don't have much good to say. And i'm glad you keep up with other peoples write ups. I guess why maybe I don't have much good to say, is your right, Zorn is not going any where any time soon. Who would you blame for the lack of depth we have right now on offense? Me, I put all that blame on the owner, Vinny, and the coachs. Who would you blame for the play calling, Zorn because he has no idea of what to call or the players for not excuting them the way they are called? Etc, Etc... The problem the redskins are facing and have been facing as far as players go, did not just start last year. They have been in existence for some time now, espicially on offense. I've read alot of the posts on here to, and many times I find that theres alot of people that write on this site I believe that turly does know about football and coaching than Zorn, Snyder and Vinny does. Its not that I have a one sided mind but I try looking at every thing as a whole. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
24-20 skins

'Skins outlast Rams in ugly matchup Comment Email Share By Jon Robinson
Archive In what turned out to be an ugly game between two teams determined to turn the ball over back and forth, the Redskins kicked three field goals and scored a first-quarter touchdown to earn their first win of the season, 16-10 against the Rams. Jason Campbell completed only 22 of 46 passes for 251 yards, including one touchdown and one interception, as he just couldn't find any consistency in the passing game. Things were even worse for the Rams, however, as Bulger managed to complete only 14 passes, fumbling twice and throwing one interception. this is taken from a Madden simulation |

Zorny seams like a humble guy and he also seams like a smart guy, so you put those things together and you have to figure that he will recognize where he made errors and correct them. So in that sense he can only get better as the games go on. |
Re: New poll: Predict the outcome of the Rams-Redskins game
Skins 52-10. Campbell throws 5 tds, 2 to Cooley, 1 Fred Davis, 2 M Kelley. Portis runs 150yrds and 2 tds.

That seems kinda crazy to me Jim. I can't see the Rams scoring 10 points on us. :) |
