Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Will post a link when I see it
Armstrong totally bummed, says he'll never play for Redskins again. Redskins respond by removing his name from roster (it's true...look for Armstrong on the Redskins roster, you won't find it) (Portis questionable, Mason might be active after all) |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Portis "questionable"? Did I miss something or is this the first we are hearing about it?
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Honestly, I think he plays. But he tweaked his hammy I think. Ankle maybe? I forget
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Campbell is listed as questionable too. Surprised there hasn't been more talk around here about that. I assume they'll both play. What's Portis' injury? I didn't even know he was dinged up.
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Portis and Campbell are taking a page from Springs, surprise injuries!
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Of course it was Rhinehart, he was a Vinny pick.
Just kidding, i want to see Rhinehart as well but Montgomery did a pretty good job last week too. |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Poor guy will never have his name spelled correctly

Has he done anything yet for fans to take the trouble to figure out how to spell his name right? |

Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
What trouble is it? It's not that complicated. It just amazes me how many Redskins fans repeatedly butcher the names of players past and present
(Firstdown of course gets a pass) |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
I'm so glad we dumped Armstrong, this was one of Vinny's worst decisions! Glad to see Chaz Rhinehardt getting the nod. Hopefully Carlos Rodgers plays well and Blanche (yes I'm guilty of this one :spank:) calls an aggressive game.
I may have to break out the Riggens jersey this week too. |

I think he was an offensive lineman with us a couple of years ago wasn't he? Not sure he ever played. |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
1) If Rinehart didn't get the nod then you would have to have assumed he was dead weight
2) I never spell our Def. Coord's name, cuz I am certain I would get it wrong. |

Yeah he's on our god damn team. Get it right people. |

The only Armstrongs I've know are Lance and Neil...and Will, obviously. |

Nope. Until he shows us something or anything for that matter I think Chaz Rhinehardt is perfectly acceptable. or maybe....... Spaz Rhino. |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Winslow's got a point, I guess
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Well, starting Rhinehart has its positives. Maybe, despite us talking about it on forums for 7 years, the Redskins front office is finally going to get it and realize that teams win that build lines. With Thomas out by week two, this essentially gives the Redskins nearly an entire season to watch and evaluate and determine if Rhinehart will become part of a new, younger, and better Line. We spent a third round pick. It really is hard to determine if the pick was a waste unless the player plays. Rhinehart now has the opportunity to show he can start here for years, the Redskins have the opportunity to evaluate Rhinehart. A win/win.

Exactly Takfas, exactly. |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
I knew Rhinofart would start over Armstrong. Armstrong was a Gibbs pick not a Vinny pick. It wouldn't have looked good for Vinny to start Armstrong so he cut him. The Eagles will probably sign him just like they did Dixon. The FO is so stupid. Us fans should be running things so as not to we mess up so bade.

If that wasn't comprehended late last year after the Baltimore Ravens game then we've got thickest skulled front office in the entire league. |
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
The only way an NFL player improves is to play , may he be fine Sunday and better come December and ,,,, January . I just hope Samuals and Sellars are dominant :) P.S. just so you know , Samuels and Sellers are correct ,,,,,, right Smoot :) ???? I hear Romo didn't throw an INT in morning practice ,,, oh wait ,,, its PRACTICE .....

Armstrong is a huge loss! When will Harvey stop alienating our Pro Bowl players and show some leadership as a coach? Ugh. We should hire Buddy Ryan. |

Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Ringhard will be fine. The dud's a beask!
|
Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
Good news for Rhinedhardt but not a big surprise. It's time to see what he's capable of. Let's hope the Thomas injury is a blessing in disguise.
Surprised to hear about CP, didn't notice him get hurt last week. JC was limping in the Rams game, think it was from when Samuels stepped on his foot on that near safety. |

Re: Rinehart Gets the Nod to Start at RG
I think/hope Rinehart will do well. I've actually been looking forward to watching him play in a real game. He said that once he gets the starting job he doesn't plan on giving it up. If he plays well, we just got younger on the o-line and solved a problem.

Rinehart. Thank you very much.[/quote] Wasn't trying to kill you or anything. Just pointing out that it seems like his name is almost never spelled right here. But then it all got out of hand with the notion that it was ok to just keep spelling his name wrong because he hasn't played yet. But no harm was intended toward you |
