question about skins Gear:
I live in Ft, Lauderdale and the walmarts and chain stores are packed with Dolphins Gear.My Question is,Are the Local Walmarts and other chain stores in the Virginia/DC area packed with Skins things??>
I Would like to Make a trip just to shop there for skins stuff if I could. If someone could let me know that would be Great, Thanks Guys! Kevin- |
Re: question about skins Gear:
I live in Chesapeake, Va. right next to Va. Beach and Wal-mart, Sears, JC Penney, K-Mart and lots of sports shops (Champs, Dicks, Sports Authority etc.) around here have plenty of Skins gear. There is even an official Redskins store here in Norfolk at MacArthur Mall.

Kevin-[/quote] There are......several Skins wear collectors and officianados on the site. I am sure some will bump your thread and come across with some solid websites you can pursue as there are many. It is mostly a matter of desire of authenticity as it relates to....depth of checkbook. A site was posted last year that sold REAL good knockoffs for like $40-$75 depending on popularity. I bought a couple. Perhaps someone has it and will post it again. |
Re: question about skins Gear:
I feel your pain. Nothing but Cowboys garbage here in OKC. Everything 'Skins I buy comes from Ebay or Redskins.com.

Re: question about skins Gear:
Here in PA, all I see is Eagles, Steelers, Ravens and COWBOYS crap. Sometimes Giants stuff too since there are so many bandwagoners and NYC's trash is moving to our cities because it's cheaper and their "customer base" is here to make "deals" with.
Luckily, I live close enough to Maryland that I can drive a little to get Skins stuff. Before the Ravens existed, there was Redskins merchandise for sale everywhere in PA. |
Re: question about skins Gear:
Going to move this to the Redskins Gear forum

Re: question about skins Gear:
With everything you can find online these days who needs an actual store?

Maybe he wants an excuse for a "roadtrip". :) It's more fun. |

Maybe he wants to try on that Redskins underwear before buying it. |
Re: question about skins Gear:
I used to buy some things from redskins store online but when they started charging 22.00 for shipping I balked big time at that! I can't tell you how many times they tell you they are giving you a sale on a certain item and then you add in shipping it would be like you bought it at the store anyway,so you really aren't saving anything. I have dealt with football fanatics before and they have some good stuff.
Locally here they have stuff at all the walmarts, k-marts, and targets. It isn't as good as the reebok stuff, but some of it IMO, like some of the shorts that I bought are actually better than the reebok stuff. I guess it all depends on what you want. |

Dang. And I thought that being surrounded by all things Saints was bad. Sorry friend, that sucks. |

Walmart has tons of licensed Skins stuff. Not sure whether Snyder sees a cut of the sales done there.

Blasphemy!! Never say die, my friend! Just regroup, lick your wounds till next year. This has become part of life as a Skins fan. As they say here in the Big Easy, Se la vie, mon amie. ;\ |

Its not a bad thing when we're winning. Seasons like this make it miserable though. If we could sweep Dallas this year it would be like a mini Super Bowl for me. |

Don't buy it. Don't buy it. Don't buy it. Let Danny Boy feel the pinch when his product is not making money. Let him feel it when people are not paying the high cost of parking. Let him feel it when no one is there to purchase the high cost of food. Parking is all his, but the food he makes a % of also. Everyone who has season tickets needs to find Metro and ride in so save on the parking cost. So Danny does not make money there. Then eat at a resturuant prior to arriving at Fed Ex. Then don't spend a dime at the park. Let Metro have your money. Let the wonderful places around the park have your money who will give you a good product. Then go to the park and not spend a dime. Sooner or later Danny will feel the pinch. |

Yes, I live about half way down into VA along the 95 corridor and all Walmarts have Skins gear and Dallas gear. |
Re: question about skins Gear:
Make it simple on yourself, go to Walmart.com, click on "Sport & Fitness", click on "Sports fan shop", click on "NFL", then click on "Redskins".
You should see some or most of the gear they have for fairly a cheap price. Usually if you order it on line you can have it sent to the store for "In store pick up". save yourself some money. |
