[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]I[/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3] did a Taco Bell Crunchy Taco Taste Off challenge during lunch and here are the results. I did nothing but hard shells and only complemented them with Fire Sauce. The tacos are assigned scores of 0-5, with 5 being the best. I will comment on Value and Presentation, but as the challenge name indicates scores are based solely on Taste.[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]Wow Taco Bell has a winner on their hands. By far the best taco when compared to the others, and would easily hold its own against the Crunchy Taco Supreme. Also the cheapest coming in at 89 cents. It has the best presentation with the all black shell and contrasting white cheese and pepper jack sauce. [/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]You know sometimes you just want a Volcano Taco no matter what other options you have and that’s cool with me. The Volcano is good, it doesn’t require you to add that much additional hot sauce, and if you are like me you usually “save” it till the end. Great presentation in the all red shell, but it comes in a little low on value, being the only taco tested that “brakes the buck” offered at $1.29[/SIZE][/FONT]

[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]Whenever you modify a item at The Bell the cashier automatically knows you mean business and rightfully suspects that you may eat here more than once a week. I don’t know what it is about this taco, sometimes I love it sometimes I don’t. It wasn’t in my good graces today, but that’s not going to stop me from ordering it next time. I also think that it is one of the lowest calorie items at Taco Bell so it usually makes a great “side item” on top of your usually order. Value and presentation is good. Currently sold for 99cents. I don't get the point of this thread unless it was intended to make me hungry for Taco Bell, in which case it is sucessfull. This is not a good thing though because I cannot leave until 6.

Who thinks about the presentation of a taco from a fast food joint? Who's sober even 25% of the time they get food from taco bell?

I want to try the black taco and I do love the valcano taco.

I had "blazin" wings at BWW last night. Man they hurt going down but coming out was a whole lot worse.

Did you actually eat these sober or under the influence? I know when I played in a Band we would stop in Hardee's for a late night meal. I always got the biscuits and gravy until I ate it sober one morning.

I have a full size kitchen that I built the entire office around so I eat in a few days. I have another few places I go for deli type foods. I do eat some fast food but I try to avoid them. See I try to eat good durn the week and go all out on the weekends.

I've never seen the blackjack taco

volcano items are effing nasty.. it's not even spicy.. it's just tingly, like there's no actual flavor of peppers in it.. I think that they use anbesol instead of habanero

I've been to Taco Bell twice. Both times have resulted in vomiting. I've never been there drunk. It's awful.

I actually had Taco Bell for dinner last night (Softball, then beer, so naturally, I had cravings for the Bell) and got 2 Black Jack Tacos and a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito. The Black Jacks are good to go. And fire sauce is the only way to dress up their stuff. Mild and hot just don't cut it.

hooskins did. Actually it can be quite disgusting at times.

I dont eat the beef there because they use a beef gun. The "ammo" is in a plastic bag which is shot onto the taco, etc.

I grabbed Taco Bell for lunch today. I tried the Black and Volcano Taco's for the first time. Although I was not disgusted by them, I wasn't all that impressed either. There is only so much that you can do with a Taco and that is why I limit it to about 1 trip a year. The only reason that I went today was because of this thread.

I have never been to Taco Bell sober and I don't think I want to. It will ruin my high opinion of them.
