I might seem like a sarcastic thread, but in honesty... I'm looking at the schedule and trying to find our next win and I figured it's be interesting to see everyone's thoughts.

I think we can take Atl. too, but much depends on how they do v. New O. next week. If they lose that game & to us that would be 3 losses in a row for them. Maybe they're on the cusp of a serious slide.

Oakland is the only game I can see us winning right now.... I mean I guess we have a chance to win everygame because of our defense (I mean hell, if we dont turn it over like woah last night, we have a good shot to win)... but honestly, I'd say 4-12 is how we'll end the year. Win vs Oakland and upset someone else along the way...

I think we will go 1-4 in our next five games. If I had to guess, I'd think we'd beat Denver.

We'll finish 2-2 to go 5-11.

Maybe not because we cant score on anyone! I really see us going 2-14, but oakland and dallas are our only shots

Very possible. We really could have knocked off the Eagles if we didn't spot them 17 points from the get go. Atlanta has looked rather average the past couple weeks. THe only thing going for them is the game is at home, but if we could have JC perform the whole game like he did during those TD drives, it could really be an ass kicking!!!!! Therin lies the trick, getting our offense to play 60 minutes of football.

I highly doubt that, but you never know. Thing is they have a plethora of wideouts and a pretty decent O line. Their D is pretty decent as well. ANd when they pin their ears back, they are scary.

It's damn hard to find a win looking at the schedule. We play good teams for the most part so we [I]should[/I] lose 8 of the remaining games. Oakland could be tough in their own backyard. I can easily see a 2-14 season...and ya know it could be the best thing to hopefully force lil D into a different direction.

I think Oakland might be the only realistic shot, but they beat KC and Filthy, two teams we couldn't beat.

atlanta and oakland, maybe. maaaaaaaaaybe... if their starter all develop a fascination with WoW and suddenly gain 100 pounds eating chips in front of the computer, and the redskins players figure out how to shoot laser from their eyes. then yeah, definitely, maybe.

I'd like to be optomistic and say Oakland, but honestly, I don't think we get another W this year. Vinny getting canned will be better than a win though.

I'm gonna say Denver. I'm still not sold on that team. I believe that we will stop the run, and if we pressure Orton, I see us getting a defensive TD that day.

Have you seen what that revamped Denver defense is doing to GOOD PRODUCTIVE offenses!?

Washington wins this game only if Denver is caught looking past them.

Fact of the matter is that in the first 7 games of the season, the combined records of the 'Skins opponents (to date) is 13-33.

After the bye, the combined records of the remaining opponents is 34-16.
5 of the lat 9 games are away.

There is only 1 team you are facing in the last 9 games that has a losing record....Oakland. And they have more wins then most of the teams that have already beated the Redskins. Not to mention it is a trip for the team across 3 time zones. I think that the Skins beat Oakland. But I would feel better about that win projection if the game were being played at 1 PM on Sunday in FedEx. West coast teams playing early games in the eastern time zone do badly. That is a definite home field advantage.
