Voted this morning and it looks like we will have a rep. gov. after tonight. Its usually not a hugh deal in Va as most Dems. that run for gov. and win are usually pretty moderate. I saw the Glen Beck show where he linked all the people around Obama to praising people like Mao Tse Tung and used actual clips of them saying these things. |

Tell you the truth , I would not have believed it had I not seen / heard it . If you plan on leaving anything to your kids one day , hire an estate planner/Attorney ...What is the Future of the Estate Tax?. Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism
People are who they are sometimes, lazy and proud of it. They freely give away all of their rights for the promise of a free meal. It is what it is. You can't convince a lazy man to be anything other than what he is.

I enjoy seeing Beck cry...I want to see more crying, less talking and chalkboard doodling.

Moonbattery: ACORN and the Cloward-Piven Strategy ... maybe Beck is crying here , as many hard working Americans will be one day [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiaLnQvy7_w]YouTube - Cloward Piven Strategy[/ame]. I doubt I will ever understand why so many Americans want to tear down what has worked so well for millions ... for some form/s of Marxism ?

Maybe they prefer Marxism? Could be that Capitalism just isn't cutting it anymore?
Maybe they prefer Marxism? Could be that Capitalism just isn't cutting it anymore?
I don't believe that . Nothing works all the time . Capitalism gives every man and women an opportunity to work , keep the money they earn and save , invest , spend or give as they see fit . We could say Marxism/Comm. ect do not work , USSR , Romania ect. I'am not against some social programs that help those he NEED help , I just want us all to earn what we want . Very few Americans leave for greener pastures , but millions have left there countries , homes and families to seek a better life in our capitalist " free " country .... correct ? Hey Saden , congrads on the wedding young man :) |
Maybe they prefer Marxism? Could be that Capitalism just isn't cutting it anymore?
The difference between the two is that Capitalism can't be eliminated. There is capitalism even under Marxism. Unless you want to be a bum, and mooch off of society, you have to exchange goods and services. I don't think the Chinese would agree with you Saden. They've outlawed Marxist Communism and injected Capitalist / Socialism. They went from being poor to a thriving economy in about 20 years. |

You're not worth listening to, that's why. Beck was a disk jockey not a comedian. Al Franken was a comedy writer. |

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism
I mean, I see what some people are saying. But Capitalism as we know it is not what made America successful, slavery did. We "adjusted" the capitlaist model so it would be sucessful here. If you do not have to pay your workers then that is not capitalism that is something else. So capiltalism is not what this country was built on. You have to be careful here, you can't just follow blind rhetoric. You could misjudge the future by revising the past. This country has yet to prove it can suceed whithout an under class of citizens who have been disenfrachised. I couldn't imagine living in the Jim Crow South paying taxes and not receiving services like police protection. My taxes paying for the white school children to recieve modern text books and my children learning form 20 year old text books.

Bullshit, everyone knows that Hollywood made Americuh what it is. Aside from military might it is the only thing that we've got that is better than the rest of the world. Our GNP is entertainment. :cool-smil |

The Jim Crow system existed in every state of the Union. Get a real estate license and find out for yourself. Some of those laws are still on the books "in California". |

Hope you spend the time to teach your kids , they will learn much more valuable things from their parents than text books . Nobody succeeds in a Marxist / communist Government ... nobody .

Re: Freedom of the Press/free speach and destruction of capitalism
Hope and fear are bad; both depend upon the viewing the future as uncertain and therefore spring from lack of wisdom. Only ignorance makes us think we can alter the future; what will be will be and the future is as unalterably fixed as the past.

How can you be so blindly and voluntarily ignorant? Like his personality or not, you can't argue that he's one of the most studious people in the media, any format. He does not say or print anything without sourcing and proving it. If you listened to his show, many times he'll say he found something but if waiting to verify it before telling us about it. His books have the most thorough footnotes and references cited sections I've ever seen. He has a full-time research staff and spends countless hours digging into things and looking for quotes, facts and actual statements made by the administration. Don't be so partisan and close-minded. President Obama and the Democrats do not have your wallet or your health in consideration with the Healthcare plan. Try reading a book or speaking with a little knowledge of the person instead of relying on Jon Stewart and Keith Olberman for your opinions of people you are told you're not supposed to agree with. Sure Beck looks a bit unhinged at times, but don't mistake insanity with passion and a desire to save the nation. He's been right on countless statements recently from Van Jones to Cash for Clunkers and he's said things before anyone else, with the facts to back it up. |
