Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Seriously. That's the typical Redskins. Lose to the horrible teams, but beat the good teams. Bronocs this year for example.
2006, we were horrible, not this bad, but we upset them IN New Orleans. Now yes this team and the Saints team aren't the same as in 2006, but our defense which was nowhere ranked near top 5 beat them. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Brees is definitely lighting Patriots secondary up, just like if they were poured over with gas and Bree just lit up the match.. Saints obviously had a good week, the whole system is executing perfectly.. Half of credits has to goes to Gregg Williams, he simply dominated Patriots offense..
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
^ they are gonna put up 45 on new england
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Well I'm kinda glad the Saints are unbeaten...just on that 1.74% chance that we upset them, we at least knock off an unbeaten team which will be one cool thing this season....
But really? No way... 31-17 Saints... I'm hoping they have a huge hangover or something and we can catch em at home...but thats alot of hope going on lol |

and where did he used to coach????? |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
I honestly think we'll upset them, it would be the typical Redskins team.

2006:
Saints offense: #1 Saints defense: #11 Redskins offense: #13 Redskins defense: #31 2009: Saints offense: #1 Saints defense: #15 Redskins offense: #25 Redskins defense: #8 All the makings for an upset, just like 2006 |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Someone should tell that prick Belichick to take a page from Sean Peyton and learn how to win without running up the score.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Question is, will he shake Peytons hand.
|

It was unfortunate that Gregg and Redskins FO went separated after the off season.. I wanted Gregg to become head coach after Gibbs walked away.. |

Probably not, f'ing prick. |

I agree. I think the Saints will be drained from the Pats and the short week, they're on the road, and they overlook us. Skins 27 Saints 21 |

Skins 27 Saints 21
if anything they will be on a high after beationg them, they sounded surprised to beat em, sharper is gonna pick 6 us too he is due |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
We're gonna shock the world!
Skins - 31 N'orleans-27 The Saints go marching home 11-1 :woot: |

Seriously. Brees is gonna crap on our secondary. It's not even going to be close. Their patchwork secondary just shut down Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and Wes Welker. Anyone who things we'll win next week deserves a CHILD PLEASE. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Considering they can run or pass it on us and win, I'm less interested in the outcome and more interested to see how Grilliams tries to attack Campbell. And more to the point, does he have anything that Campbell hasn't already seen?
The defense always used to dominate the offense in practice when Williams was here, so I don't see why this would be any different, but I doubt he will do anything particularly shocking. He can win his one-on-ones at pretty much every position. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Redskins tend to play up to good opponents and down to bad ones. The Saints are more than good, they are REALLY good.
I think the Skins can hang with the Saints for a half. Beyond that, I just don't think they have the firepower to keep up - - unless the Saints are really deflated after their big win over the Pats. Saints 34 Skins 23 |

Umm? Wake up fellas, and ladies: Saints 45 Skins 21. That's after the Skins score first and piss them off.. |

I'm sorry, y'all but let me put this in perspective for you.. I left the dome 3 hours ago, and still drinking the bong water... All that being said and considered; think Rypien or Warner (superbowl years)... A quarterback, and team that's able to go down the field without question of deep completions. Brees is uber accurate. The RBs are pulling the wagon. The defense is well schooled and doing what's needed to get the job done. That's what we're watching, that's a team that wins it all.. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Someone should tell that prick Belichick to take a page from Sean Peyton and learn how to win without running up the score.
He can always say that teams didn't run up the score on him because he'll take his starters out in the middle of the 4th quarter. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
This one is gonna be nasty... I'm thinking like that Pats game back in 2007.
Redskins - 6 Saints - 42 |

Only thing that this could be a trap game...but people thought the same about the Saints' game against Tampa Bay.
The completely shutdown the passing game while having a few secondary players out of the game.. that's impressive Brees showed Brady up at his own game.. putting the ball exactly where it should be |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Perfect time to play them...
Saints 27-34 Skins |

Maybe the Saints Offense gets off to a slow start and we make a game of it ... no I'am not betting on it , but we have beat them the past two times . |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Sorry guys,
This is the game our D gets unmasked, and our O doesn't show. 41 - 3 Saints. They may even have a shut out, and the only reason it is that close is because Payton is classier than BB. I really hope I am wrong, but the Saints have only scored in the 20's 3 times. That's kinda like the Skins 2 times, except that where our 2 times are our season high, their 3 times are their season lows. We have never scored over 27, they have never scored under 24. I hope we upset them, but that is exactly what it would be. My guess is that the line on the game will have to be in the 14 to 17 point range. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Saints could be in for a little Monday night letdown.
That said, the Saints simply have too much and will find a way to win this one but I don't see a blowout. Saints 27 Skins 17 |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
ouchtown population us. they looked really good last night. 34-20 them.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
I've been thinkin upset on this one for a while provided the Saints beat NE. Now that they have, this is their trap game & we click in all phases:
Skins 28-24. They did look great last night but I also thought Brady had maybe his worst game in 5-6 years. He missed some guys open & they threw so many looks at him that he looked almost like a rookie qb at times. The Saints can't play w/that energy 2 weeks in a row. JC & co. know the Grilliams D & while GW will be fired up to play us, our D will be fired up to show their old boss that they can still do it w/out him. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
I'm thinking that the Skins D might show up to play a little bit, but that really just means keeping the Saints under 40.
Saints 31 -17 And, btw, it's Sean Payton |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
saints average 30+ points.....our boys have little chance.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
The Saints have too many weapons on offense. The breakdowns on defense will happen again. The Saints will find a way to get wide open receivers. It could get ugly. The only chance the Skins have is to play stellar defense and control the clock with the running game.

i agree it would be the Skins to give the Saints their 1st loss after they gave the Lions their 1st win...especially cuz they've been playin better. except the skins have been leaving recievers wide open lately and Saints WILL exploit that if that happens |
