Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
I've been wondering about some of your screen names, what they mean and what inspired it.
For instance, some are self explanatory: 70Chip, for instance. But what does it/your screen name mean to you, and out of the multiple choices available, why did you choose to identify with that one the most. For me, I chose 12thMan, in part, because it communicated to the rest of my fellow Warpath brethren the fervor and love I personally have for the Redskins. There were others I had in mind, like Badassmotherfucker, but I liked 12thMan the most. Actually I was surprised that no one else had it at the time. Okay, your turn. Oh, if there's someone specifically you wanted to ask but never bothered or it just seemed silly at the time, call 'em out and ask them. Thanks for playing, mate. |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.

Really?? I didn't know. Anyway, what does your screen name mean? |

The annual tell us about your screen name thread :)
Contrary to popular belief, mine has nothing to do with Fred Smoot, it's actually my humble appeal that we put an end to, or "smack", the last vestiges of the nationalistic, free-market denying Smoot-Hawley Tariff |

Solid Snake is the main character is the metal gear series of games. Metal Gear is all about Stealth-Action-Espionage. go to wiki and read metal gear or type in Solid Snake. You're gonna laugh at me...but the man changed my life gaming wise...i still find myself quoting him even today lol |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
Holy cow, I didn't know. Thanks. Hey, you can merge. lol....

You and me both brother. Someone should seriously start a thread about that. I dont hate them per say...but the things they do. 1.) The fact that they do not have to have any kind of retesting in order to keep their driver's license. 2) They aren't punished for crimes because "of their age". 3) They think people owe them something..... and the list goes on and on |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
Dynamite Rave is a music track from the video game Dance Dance Revolution. A game I used to play with fervor about 2-3 years ago. I'm not so much into it anymore. But the name always stuck in my mind.

Very nice. Why don't you go ahead and start this thread you've suggested about what you don't like about elderly people (but we'll keep in mind that you don't hate them "per se"). |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
lol zing.
But in terms of my SN. hoos refers to the wahoos of uva and skins is obvious. |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
My name is Rob Haynos, so hence the RobH.
44 was my number when I played football in High School.... while 13 was my lax number. And mad props at the Trample the Elderly name.... Its funny that I never thought twice about it. Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
Mine is pretty cut and dry. Greg is my first name, thus the G. My middle initial is M, and Scud is a play on my last name. Therefore GMScud. It has nothing to do with General Manager as some may assume.

I'm not going to start the holy war here, but i dont see where me being a Christian has anything to do with the fact that i hate certain behaviors of elderly people. I even pointed out in my comment that i don't hate them as people, but rather their behavior. And just so you know, my good friend Josh Doll was killed earlier this year by an old driver who was driving on a revoked license. So i think i have a right to be annoyed when it comes to their behavior. Oh and another thing, that old person didnt face any charges whatsoever even though my friend died at their hand... I know enough to know that being a Christian means accountability. I'm just pointing out that someone should hold the elderly accountable, but no one does. And i'm sorry if my comments got the thread off topic. |

Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
My name is from wayyy back when I first started using the internets. I was a huge Kevin Smith/Clerks/Dogma/Mallrats/Jay and Silent Bob fan back then (I still love Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) and my first AOL screen name was Mooby345. Then (blank memory) happened and I had to make a new one so I named it Mooby346, which is still my name on other sites. I think that was my original name here but I got tired of the numbers so I just cut it back to Mooby.

Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
well i've been on several message boards, some sports, some music, some general....
screen names always end up stupid no matter how hard we try for something "cool" or funny. i figured i'd go with something redskins-fan related, but we dont need another MonkLover81 (bigtime Monk fan of course) or "spearfeather" etc.... so Rainy Parade... as gay is it sounds... as a kid, i went to that first SuperBowl parade and spent the whole day in the pouring rain. so there it is. is it stupid? sure. will i regret having such a name? probably. do i care? not really.... |
Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
Pretty simple, my initials: JD followed by my last name Lea

I got my eyes on you!!!! Theisman is the proper spelling and it was pronounced Theesman until joey T was up for the hiesman. He changed the pronunciation to rhyme with heisman. So I spell it the way I do. |

Re: Tell Us About Your Screen Name.
my screen name is pretty straight foreward. Solid Snake= main character from Metal Gear Solid Games, which were my favorite growing up. And 1984 is the year is was born.

I remember this debate. You are right. I'm sure i'll feel the same way, that after simply existing for 75+ years, the world owes me something too. Alot of them deserve respect for military service, or fighting in a war. Been there and done that. But i'll tell you one thing. i wont be like these old codgers you see lol. |
