They say you only miss someone after they're gone...it has only been a few hours but I kinda miss Vinny already.
psyche...that's one person I don't care if they're unemployed permanently. |

I'll have to find somebody else to pick on in the front office! One thing for sure, I'm glad he's gone.

Re: Vinny Cerrato Appreciation Thread
Yeah, who are we gonna blame now when things go bad? To paraphrase Nixon, we're not gonna have old Vinnie to kick around anymore.

Totally reminded me of this Malcolm in the Middle quote. Lois: Those dominoes are keeping Dewey from driving me crazy. And if they get knocked over, I will blame you. If a door slams shut and knocks them over, I will blame you. If there is an earthquake, I will blame you. If a condor dies in flight and crashes through our roof and knocks them over, I will blame you. Reese: But that's not fair. Lois: I WILL BLAME YOU! |
Re: Vinny Cerrato Appreciation Thread
I can't think of any good Vinny ever did here. Salary Cap hell year after year....trading away picks for washed up players...i think the most appreciative moment i have for him is when he "stepped down" yesterday.
And i still think Dan went to him and told him there would be a change, and that he could be a lesser part of the team, or if he didn't want that, to resign.... |

I said he's always looked like that and hopefully it's just caffeine pill popping. He was a wild-eyed dude. |
Re: Vinny Cerrato Appreciation Thread
I don't know why eveyone hates on Vinny when its Danny's fault for allowing him to stay with the Redskins. I'm sure vinny tried the best he could he was just not the right person for the job and thats the job of the boss to correct that. In my office I have one lady who is great at customer service but could not sell you a life jacket 100 miles off shore when your boat was sinking. So I took all sales related stuff away from her and let her do all the customer service issues while others handle sales and I play on the computer, play golf, fish, and other fun stuff.

You, sir, are my new hero.

Re: Vinny Cerrato Appreciation Thread
I'm gonna take this thread in a completely opposite direction from where it had gone.
My favorite Vinny moment is those draft picks that netted us most of our young promising players from the draft these last two years. If there's one thing I want to praise him for it will be for that. |
