wow
Damn....
I think we can see where Joe thyinks our main problems have been...OL
It keeps getting better. Ouch.
It look's like we have a plan, and it's starting to unfold, if you don't out perform expectation's your gone, far cry from Norv and SS, it won't be long before the noose makes it's way around Brunell's neck for good.
guess they felt like it was an upgrade... joe loves him some oldies...
That's a surprise. I don't like it but I'll defer to Gibbs and Bugel for now. I just hope this isn't another Barrow-like player who spends the whole season on the bench.
Well it's not like Jones was an all-pro or anything. It's a bit of a shock but they must be feeling comfortable with Wilson's progress and they felt Vaughn Parker was an upgrade over Jones.
What do you mean Wilson and Vaughn Parker, Matty. We have 42 year old RAY BROWN anchoring that position! We really don't need any depth there.
vaugh has only played 10 years, versus brown's 19, guess they're going young :)
I do NOT know what was behind this move. I will only offer for consideration that this is NOT the first time that Kenyata has been cut from a team that was haveing difficulty on the OL. And if memory serves, he was cut in mid-season last time too...
Makes me wonder... |
If I remember correctly the Patriots cut Kenyatta Jones because he poured boiling water on a teammate, or something like that. Now I'm not saying the same happened here, but maybe it wasn't just on the field performance that led to him being cut

That's a good point. From his history, he doesn't seem like the type of guy that Gibbs is referring to when he talks about "Redskins." |
I saw an interview with bugel, he couldn't say enough good thing's about Parker, he coached him in San Diego, he kept harping on the fact that Parker is super smart, apparently Parker called Bugel and told him he would like to finish out his career and retire a redskin, Buge's was really high on this guy.
Sucks for Kenyatta, but he was CLEARLY the weak link on our line.
Never heard of this other guy they signed, but like everyone says here: In Gibbs/Bugel we trust!! |
First Rasby and now Kenyatta. Pro-Football weekly quoted a Redskin Insider as saying that one problem in their blocking schemes was that Rasby was missing and having communication problems. Wonder if Kenyatta had the same problems. At least Joe is paying attention to detail and fine tuning the offense to get better protection for Burnell and open more holes for Portis..........We just need to give Joe some time and we will see the offense improve.......IN JOE WE TRUST :D

:laughing- It's just amazing that Ray played in the LAST Gibbs era...and is STILL playing now in the CURRENT Gibbs era.............This guy has extremely good heredity genes or I want to know what he eats.................... |
same crap they're feeding vinny, flutie, and rice i'd guess...
Brown Aint All That!
Brown has "swinging door" blocking down to a science!
DEs just blow right by him! |
