Don't You Wish..........

I know it's early in the game................
But I'm watching the Steelers and their young QB annilihate the Super Bowl Champs winners of 21 straight............... amazing.......and I'm green with jealousy..........

LongTimeSkinsFan 10-31-2004 05:07 PM

I can't spell the guy's name, I think it's Roethlesberger. He is awesome and could well be the best QB that team has had since Bradshaw.

Gmanc711 10-31-2004 05:12 PM

Rothlesberger is awsome. He was amazing in college, and has been suprisingly good early on in his career in the NFL. Congrats to him.

VTSkins897 10-31-2004 05:51 PM

roethlisberger... yeah man i was just thinking the same thing. but a lotta ppl would have taken him now. least our boy likes to party... damn redskins sure don't.

MTK 10-31-2004 06:37 PM

Shoulda, woulda, coulda

who cares

ZackMills 10-31-2004 07:28 PM

He's kicking their asses now...will beat the pats. great kid, great QB.

Big C 10-31-2004 09:05 PM

he still wouldnt be playing even if we got him...if he wont play ramsey, why roethlisbergr?

ZackMills 10-31-2004 10:12 PM

cause he's an old man too stubborn to change...much like joe paterno.

MTK 10-31-2004 10:18 PM

Who needs denim monger anyway?

 this old man U are talking about I assume is gibbs and for what ever reason hasn't changed the Qb position knows what he's doing. Look at history which is all we can hope for now, and by your coments about him being old stubborn to change I think U don't have much history with this team, maybe due to your age or what ever reason. Just makes me :FIREdevil
F%*king mad when I read about people blameing gibbs for everything especially skins fans. Again i assume your comment was about gibbs if not I'm sorry. Oh about the steelers Qb, he is good for such a young one, especialy staying in the pocket as it folds and he still makes a great throw.

burgundy goggles are nice, eh?

BR is playing because when he got the chance to start he came in and made good things happen without the stupid mistakes. PR is not playing because when he got to start he made tons of stupid mistakes and nothing good was happening. Bottom line is the only person PR has to blame for his not starting is himself.

Ben R is playing because the starter got hurt and could not start the next couple games. He will keep playing because they are winning....basically he "pulled a Brady". Kinda makes you wonder what would have happened if Brunell's hammy didn't improve enough to play the Dallas game....

irish 11-01-2004 01:28 PM

BR did get to play because the starter was hurt and like I said, he made the best of his opportunity by leading the team to impressive wins. When MB's hammy was hurt and PR had his chance he stunk the joint out. Had BR done the same he would not be starting for the steelers right now.

MTK 11-01-2004 03:06 PM

If Ramsey came in against the Giants and fired 3 TD's instead of 3 INT's he might have made Gibbs' decision to stick with Brunell very difficult.

In fact I'd say Brunell's hamstring injury might have been a bit more severe had Ramsey blown our socks off in that game.

Roethlisberger looks like a future HOFer to me. If they beat Philly next week, I really don't see how they can't win the Super Bowl. I wonder how he'll fare with our defense. He's going to look like a rookie eventually.
