The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Pretty funny stuff, really, but typical CP bullshit. He says Lavar left town in DC because he wasn't the top paid guy anymore after CP arrived....lmfao.
OH and for all the people who will say this is bs: D.C. Sports Bog - Clinton Portis riles up LaVar Arrington recaps of CP's wonderful words for his teammates, pretty much everyone: The O-line: "I wish I could go to a team for one week with the best offensive line, or the team with the best scheme, and switch places with their back and see how others would do in this system....I get a lot of touches with nowhere to run. I could see if I got all those touches and had some lanes, but there's nine or 10 men in the box. You know, I'm dodging all the people in the backfield, fighting just to get back to the line of scrimmage." Jim Zorn: "We got a genius for a head coach, I don't know, I'm sure he on top of things. He's got everything figured out. Hey, that's up to him. All I can do is when he calls a play is go out and try to execute to the best of my ability." Brian Mitchell: "We got some haters, and there's one on this show. He's so caught up in whatever I do and being negative about it. Man, I really want to know what's going on....There's a man on your show who can't keep my name out of his mouth, it's always the negativity....So the fools saying Portis need to shut up, they can kiss Portis's ass. I'm saying that. Ain't nothing gonna change, my man." John Riggins: "I think he was a great running back, but think of who else was around, you know? Really not hard to be a great running back when you've got all that talent and help around you. I think they just had great teams, you know? I think everybody who played in that era as a running back was big around here, so it really ain't no ill will. I'm minding my business, and hopefully he'll do the same." Mike Sellers: "We got into the game, I felt like Mike was lacking. I let Mike know that he was lacking. Listen, that's what he asked me to do, so I just asked him, I told him, I said Mike, c'mon baby, I need you. We went out, it happened again. Therefore I came to the sideline and I told them, I was like I just didn't want a fullback in front of me, put me in one-back." Locker room leaders: "I know I never went to the media with anything but my issues. I never came to anybody and said, 'Well, this is going on, that's going on, this is going on.' Somehow, some way, everything goes and was leaked into the media and is the topic of conversations and you got so many anonymous guys talking about, 'Well, this ain't right,' and don't put their name behind it. Like, take credit for what you say." Jason Campbell: "I think Jason, you can't place so much on somebody who's not ready for that situation. I think Jason has enough trouble in getting the plays in and worrying about this, compared to controlling the huddle and making sure, 'Oh, we do this and we do that.' But you go and vote Jason Campbell [as captain] -- you know Jason Campbell ain't go and tell the coach, 'Well, we need to do this or we need to do that,' or 'This is how the players want it.' " |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Couldn't this have been discussed in one of the other CP threads???
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
this seems like a rehash.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
the article said it was made on Feb 8th, so i thought it was relevant....Sorry
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Let's keep this open because LaVar is expected to respond to this later this afternoon, so this should get entertaining if nothing else
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
CP and LA, two dopes who love to hear themselves talk.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
We need something to talk about so let them go at it.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Put them both in a cage and let them fight it out.
|
Put them both in a cage and let them fight it out.
Portis would definitely need some running skills in that situation. If he tripped over his own feet as he's prone to do, LA would eat his ass up. Can't wait to hear LA's reply. Sounds like Portis is still starting s**t. The dude can't help it. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Can we finally just cut this guy...old, slow, big mouth, shows his leadership to the young guys by trying to get out of practices and talking shit about past Redskins legends and current legitamate team leaders.....and the rest of that bullsh*t contract. Write him the check Danny Boy and lets start rebuilding with guys who want to be here and lets get rid of this negative attitude
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
CP is really sounding more like TO every time he speaks to the media. The difference is that TO was always putting up #s & making plays while doing it.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
LaVarr on WJFK talking about this right now.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
He's talking much...but ain't sayin' nothing.
It seems his rebuttle to Portis is rambling and without point. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
LaVarr's extemely concerned with people knowing whose jerseys are framed and displayed in his home.
God bless this guy...he's talked the last 15mins and I haven't come away with anything of note other than how much artistic value he places on NFL jerseys. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
portis just cant help himself...christ fuck him...CUT HIM!!!
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
holy shit...lavar is laying it all down...wow
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
LOL he pretty much just called portis a bitch for missing the rest of the season for his concussion...and he had one and went into halftime rubbed it off and got an int vs carolina and won the game and was said it turned thier season around...he told portis to stop being a talker and be a doer...be a leader by following...dont tell people to follow you be a leader by your actions. lol dude is so right...i <3 arrington

Yeah...he's finally making sense now. The first segment went on and on. He's putting it on Portis now...it's pretty good. |

Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
CP and LA are more alike than either would be willing to admit
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Earlier today, off-air LA was ripping CP's costumes and alter-egos. Is he still doing that?
|

Yeah it's kinda funny actually to hear LA giving career advice to CP |

How did you hear that if it was off-air? : ) He was ripping him for dressing up like a fairy and said that it disrespected former players like Bobby Mitchell. It was pretty intense and worth a listen. Do yourself a favor though and listen to the second segment about it. The first segment droned on and on and really just overemphasized the specific audience he was trying to reach or influence by speaking on this (young kids). |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
lol even with the problems with portis and even tho he paid back about $15 million to get out of DC, do you think he'd accept a tryout if we offered him one? haha
|
CP and LA, two dopes who love to hear themselves talk.
They both need to immediately be placed on our ignored list. I'm actually embarrassed for the both of them because they obviously don't have what it takes to be embarrassed for themselves. A course in grammar would suit them both well. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
I’ve had it with #26…get him outta here. He’s such a moron, he speaks before thinking and is too ignorant to even realize that his comments are contradicting. This is a guy that takes shots at former Redskins’ greats (B.Mitch, Riggins, and now Lavar) but he is accusing others of being envious of him because of the money he makes. Give me a break, you’re obviously the one who’s jealous and clearly have a problem with anyone who has had success in a Redskins uniform. How can you claim that when you arrived in DC that Lavar was found issue with what you and Laveranues were making, when it sounds like you are the only one who is overly concerned with what players on this team are making, especially when you make comments like “My pockets straight.” Lavar’s issue obviously wasn’t money if he gave money back to get outta here. He is living and his own world and creates all this problems for himself that don’t even exist. If I were to suggest that he suffers from Paranoid schizophrenia, it would be insulting those that realy do. But this is a sick individual who doesn’t need to be here anymore and isn’t owed anything, please cut ties with this moron and don’t feel the need to try to work him into your system again Shanahan, we won’t get far with this type of personality on the team for another year.

Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
LaVar needs to shut it. He's no better than Portis. Last week he threw Brunell under the bus by comparing him to a freeloader because he's a placeholder. Of course rambling LaVar forgot the second string QB part. Soon after, he relived his Aikman hit.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
you know what, I dint give a flying horse shit what either of them 'say', I only care about the on field play. Lavar and Portis are soooooo much alike as some of you have already mentioned. They both say whats on their mind and aren't worried about saying the 'right' thing. Neither was or is consistent enough on the field but very consistent with their big mouths. At the end of the day Portis can say what he wants if he can play like he did in Denver, thats all I'm saying.

People really need to learn to type though. Seriously LaVar?
"ok to my twitter fam im going to take a vote and this will determine how i respond to this FOOL," LaVar wrote on Twitter, setting off a series of several posts. "clinton portis said i basically left DC because he came to town and was the man-alrighty then so my question to u all is should i A-TEAR HIM UP ON THE SHOW ON MON B-JUST CALL IT AS I SEE AND EXPLAIN WITH NO MALICE OR C-NOT EVEN ADDRESS IT- look im a grown man should i respond to my childs comments or not." LaVar asked Chad Ochocinco for advice via Twitter. Eventually he came back with this: "PS I JUST WATCH THE CLIP WITH SOUTH EAST JEROME! I WISH I COULD POST THE LINK! ITS HARD FOR ME TO GET MAD AT A CLUELESS PERSON I WILL PRAY FOR HIM AND I WILL HAVE SOME WORDS ABOUT HIS COMMENTS ON MONDAYS SHOW SO BE READY."
Do you really expect me or anyone else to read this and take you seriously LaVar? I mean I will admit, Clinton's theory is ridiculous. The Redskins restructured his contract in a way he didn't agree with. You combine that with his free-lancing and reduced productivity in Williams system and you have the reasons why LaVar was granted a release. To suggest it was some sort of d**k measuring contest based on contract size is absurd. Oh wait I'm sorry, let me start again. DO yOU X-pecta mE 2 or any1 else ta REad dis n taKE U SerIOUsLY LaVAr? God my eyes hurt when I read that. What is the world coming to when Chad Johnson is the only NFL player on Twitter that tries to make his post look presentable? |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
let it go bro.
Portis is gonna be quiet now that Zorn is gone and the big dog is runnin the operation now. Hell be quiet if he knows whats good for him. |

Portis is gonna be quiet now that Zorn is gone and the big dog is runnin the operation now. Hell be quiet if he knows whats good for him.
Obviously not, Zorn is gone and he's still pulling this garbage. Apparently the only thing he heard from Shanahan was tell people when you're displeased with them, nothing in there about tact and civility. Maybe someone should tell Portis "man to man" that "hey you're not practicing, you're not running hard like you use to, and now you're causing problems in the locker room. We don't need you here." Of course Clinton probably knows this but I seem to loose respect for him as days go by. Hopefully the salary cap never comes back so we don't have to worry about having our hands tied with Clinton. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Portis better get all this $hit out of his system quick, playtime's over come roster bonus time on March 5th. God, I hope we cut his ass.
|
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Yes...i think thats the wish of every redskins fan on the planet...I dont know why in the flying blue f##k anyone wanted him in the first place. He was over-rated...he already had major concerns about him which is why Shanahan dumped his ass in the first place...
God i hope this guy is gone from here soon....i really hate him that much. |
Re: The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington
Did he fart in your face or something? Why so personal?

i just love the redskins...i hate when guys do this. they seem to be really trying to "build" a team....and a guy like him is counter-active to anything we try and do. he's just never gonna change. he has nothing good to say about ANYONE |
